Meanwhile, Cavendish is quite mad that Renshaw signed for Rabobank instead of continuing to be his leadout man.
Also, Craig Lewis is rumoured to Saxo Bank. Riis says he's signed some more riders that he'll announce later

Not really, it's a case of one journalist conducting an interview, another putting spin on the interview to make an interesting story and then an editor making it more dramatic. Unfortunately we live in a world of inept journalism.

I know that Cav is almost certainly going to Sky, by I can't help but think that his delaying tactics and him not saying anything means that there is a suprise in store. Just my honest opinion.

I think Cavendish should go to OPQS. He will continue to ride on Specialized bikes , he will have a good team to help him on sprints (Matin , Grabsch , and maybe even Boonen and Ciolek ) and there will be no rider for the GC in the team ( except Leipheimer). No doubt that at Sky he will feel "at home" , but I think that riders like Froome , Wiggo and B.Hagen will concentate on their own goals , rather than helping him. What do you think? |
