 at this time trial Grin You are seriously playing on extreme? Good job!

roturn
Thanks.
Yep it`s indeed extreme. The mountain stage was almost sure, that I would dominate it against "weak" climbers. But the timetrial was just weird. The slopes were extreme high, so HAgen and Larsson struggled there a bit. These wouldn`t be sucha big surprise if other time trialists also struggled, but for some reason my riders didn`t struggle at all. Meier 71, Vandervelde 68. Goss 66 in timetrial were better than many others...Rolling Eyes

Looking forward for Paris Nice and Tirreno Adriatico. There the domination should end ^^ At least I hope so, as I don`t enjoy playing that way.
Close battles like in Calabria or Mediteraneen are much more fun to play even if I lose against other riders.

Tour of Oman - Stage 6
Al Jissah – Muscat Corniche
img191.imageshack.us/img191/2014/pcm0001y.jpg
Last stage is again a flat one. Goss has already a good advance in the points ranking but he will try his best to get a good result here. Martin jsut have to finish in the first group to win the overall.

img89.imageshack.us/img89/52/pcm0003c.jpg
Many riders with an attack today. The best one is Klöden (BMC) with about 10min back. Østergård (Designa), Bauer (Endura), Médici (Scott), Bitti (Farnese), Barton (BMC) and Lund (Leopard) are some of them.
Thanks to Kenl on this point, who helped me over many PM`s how the equipment works. So Leopard, Saxobank and Movistar with their 2011 bikes now.

img600.imageshack.us/img600/3654/pcm0004.jpg
Duggan and Meier doing the pace ith 80km and 6min time gap.
The group wouldn`t be a danger for the overall, but Goss wants the win.
With wind speed of more than 55km/h the wind might be an important factor now.

img810.imageshack.us/img810/3596/pcm0005i.jpg
On the final circuit it started to rain, what causes many crashes. This one the sprinters and overall riders with luck.

img585.imageshack.us/img585/3032/pcm0006.jpg
Another crash and this time Goss on the asphalt. Bad luck for the Australian. It`s still 13 km to go.

img64.imageshack.us/img64/8724/pcm0007v.jpg
Goss just being back in the peloton crashed a second time. This can`t be true. Also Moos with an ugly crash. Larsson, the 2nd in the overall is also down and will lose time.

img690.imageshack.us/img690/522/pcm0008.jpg
Steegmans with the win ahead of the Astana duo Brown and Bennati. The first two rider were still 1 lap back.
Goss wins the sprinter jersey with just a very few points ahead of Martin and Steegmans. Martin takes the overall lead really dominant. Good job by the Irish men.
Larsson felt back on 5. Bad luck for the Swedish rider from United Health Care.

Andreas Kloden in BMC Shock..
btw can show me his stats :?

roturn
He was already with BMC in the last season without that much success. 2xtop 10 in smaller classics, 20th in La Vuelta with 73mo was qutie good actually.

But with 36years now he lost much of his strenght as also Armstrong as a similar rider.

That just shows why Martin was that dominant.
The climbers were out of form, crashed or lost time somewhere else. So Hagen with 70mo, 77hi, 77tt I think was one of the favourites Grin

The Vuelta a Andalucia or Ruta del Sol is a Spanish 5 day stage race in Andalucia. Since 2005 the race belongs to the UCI Europe and is categorized as 2.1. The nickname, Ruta del Sol, is in reference to the region's popular tourist coastline the Costa del Sol.
It was first held in 1925 with Ricardo Montero (ESP) as winner. With 2 wins each Freddy Maertens (BEL), Dietrich Thurau (GER), Rolf Gölz (GER) and Stefano Della Santa (ITA) hold the record.

For Sanchez it`s the last big test before Paris Nice. He is supported by Boom, Kessiakoff and Millar for the harder stages. But also Felline, Duggan and Pate will be a great support. Rojas Gil will try his luck in the flat stages, which are quite rare actually.

The overall just goes over Astana, Movistar and Garmin.
These 3 teams are by far the strongest here. Florencio with Saxobank has just small chances to defend his title.

Last but not least. Proudly we present our new helmets. I just created it by myself. It`s my first helmet, I ever created. But the bright orange helmets with black jerseys were just weird. Wink

It`s the officially 2011 Garmin helmets. Of course my skills aren`t as good than KenL`s or Boogies but if someone is interested I can upload it.

Good job in Oman.
Nice helmet..

Thanks baia.
Also think the helmet suits the dark jersey much better.
You just need better eyes now to find the riders on the screenshots. Wink

Vuelta a Ancalucia - Stage 1
Jaén - Puerto de la Guardia
img189.imageshack.us/img189/364/pcm0002h.jpg
The first stage is also the queen stage of this race. With a hard uphill finish the favourites must be in a top form today. Otherwise it`s hard to win that time back later. LL Sanchez will go for the win today.
Also Kessiakoff should be able to get a top 10 here.

img833.imageshack.us/img833/4092/pcm0005k.jpg
All early breakaway groups were caught quite fast and so it last almost 70 km when 3 riders attacked successful.
Italian road champion Felline shows the Garmin logo today. His companions are Martínez (Café) and Štangelj (Carmiooro).

img809.imageshack.us/img809/5134/pcm0006p.jpg
20km later 3 more riders caught up with them. Rodríguez (Androni), J.Moreno (Geox) and Sesma (Euskaltel). Some of the riders could surprise the favourites actually.

img15.imageshack.us/img15/6200/pcm0007m.jpg
So Astana with a high pace takes care for this new situation. With 20km to go the riders are caught. With Sanchez and Kessiakoff our leaders have to be careful now.

img543.imageshack.us/img543/522/pcm0008.jpg
A short descent before the final 5km climb. Sanchez and Millar now in the first row. We don`t want to be surprised by any attack,

img25.imageshack.us/img25/4241/pcm0009x.jpg
There the top favourite goes. Frank Schleck attacks very strong. OF course we have to react now. Sanchez, who was behind him increases...

img833.imageshack.us/img833/6310/pcm0010f.jpg
...and with a great efford he joins him. Nobody else is able to follow.
Cobo is chasing solo a few seconds later. Then a group around Velits, Kessiakoff, Florencio, Kiryenka, Gautier, Navarro, Vinokourov. Soler, ARdila and Plaza.

img69.imageshack.us/img69/7828/pcm0011g.jpg
Sanchez was able to stay with Schleck on the climb and in the sprint he was faster and takes the win.
Actually I feel almost sorry at the moment as I am too dominant in this month. Hope this will stop soon ;( Otherwise I have to make extreme harder in the DB.

My experience learns that it will be tougher to win your races when the big races take place. Smile

The helmet is looks really nice. Well done creating it. Also a nice win from Sánchez, and don't worry about being dominant. It will probably change when the AI riders gets in shape. I think it is just nice that you take some wins.

This story is very nice to read. Keep up the great work.

very nice win with Sanchez!

roturn
Thanks all.
@Pellizotti: Actually the game is very realistic as Garmin Cervelo is a bit dominant at the moment, too.

@Tombola: It was bad luck that Felline wore these old stuff when I want to present my helmet. And too lazy to start a new stage Grin
Actually I am just working on the ITT helmet as PCM Benelux is publishing a Garmin Road pack at the weekend.

Alakagom
What a domination Smile Great win again, hope you will find more challenge in March Grin

Thanks. Hope so, too.

Just a short information. I won`t be home until Tuesday/Wednesday. So no updates for that time.
I might be online in the forum but can`t play PCM.

It's Garmin dominance everywhere! Banana

BTW, where did you get the Oman profiles?
