Not often that a team (especially without a manager) gets 1-2 in the GC, and wins the points, mountain, team, and youth... meh... Rojas fourth, how did I guess?

Domination from Team Haier.
Great 4th for Favilli on last stage. 6th and 8th in the GC. I call this race a success for my team. |

Stage 1
This years Giro del Trentino kicks of with a Team Time Trial at Garda Lake. Teams you have to consider for the win are TAP, Bulgari, Pervyj and German outfit Nintendo. Triks Custom Season, In and Out and Sony Ericsson take the outsider spot. The outcome of this stage can already determine how the next stages develop.
Stage 2
The second stage features three major climbs within the last 50 kilometres before the finish. After today the general classement will already have taken shape. Overall Favourites will try to (re)gain time, a hectic finish is expected. Who will take the pink jersey today? Jakab Zoltan has to be considered the big favourite of this Giro del Trentino, his biggest rivals are Pierre Rolland and Damiano Cunego. After that there are a lot of good climbers that will try to get on the podium/Top 10.
Stage 3
Here we have an 15 % climb that lasts over almost 10 kilometres, the favourites for the GC won't talk much at breakfast, they will have to be concentrated and prepare themselves for that climb on that climb or they will fail today. The gaps in the generall classement won't be big just before that day but after we probably will see huge gaps and the GC will probably already look pretty much like the final one.
Stage 4
The almost entire stage goes uphill this day. Starting with 74 metres above sea level and ending 2239 metres. There won't be any troubles for weak climbers to hang on for the biggest part though, as the real climbing starts at km 166 with 14 kilometres to go. We will see minor changes in the GC today but probably only the top 3 riders in the GC will be able to challenge the pink jersey. But still it is rather unlikely that we will see a change in the top spot, if the leader has survived the last two days as the strongest. |

I was already surprised when reading this the first time but I couldn't check the first time but now I went sure and what you are writing is not true, my form included only 8 riders. You somehow added Rousseau and Rutkiewicz to the list, they were both planned for the Bayern Tour which is right to the Glava Tour in the planning sheet... Maybe there is your mistake.
Now Rousseau would have to many race days because of that and Hinault 5 left, so I would like to ask the Reporter of the Bayern Tour to include him instead of Rousseau.. |

I don't know how it ended up in my planning sheet though (deleted every column except for the races I report)
Atlantius reports Bayern, so you could ask him.

Stage 1 - Riva del Garda - Arco
After all teams finished the race the finish zone was full of tension all the race commisaires were in stress, there were three teams that claimed to have won the stage and want to see the replay and the times... more to come but first what happened before:
Team Fastweb is the first to set off, they set a decent time with 20'26, nothing to be unhappy for them.
Dominos is the next on the track, ex-TT worldchampion Michael Rogers among them, still they miss the time Fastweb set by for seconds.
Now Austrian team Red Bull with team captain Paolo Tiralongo, they are slower then both teams before. 12 seconds slower then Fastweb.
AXA is the next to challenge the mark of Fastweb, they put in a decent effort and pull out 14 seconds of the best time so far.
Bulgari is the first team to break the 20 minutes mark, Italian TT champion Adriano Malori makes them fly to a time of 19'48.
Nintendo is also very fast going. In the end in the same time as Bulgari, what a success.
Sony Ericsson bringing not a bad squad for Team TTs, still they stay 26 behind the leading duo.
Team CSC is not having a good day and with 20'22 they are only one spot away from the bottom.
Swiss outfit Motorex is setting their captain Geisinger in a bad position with the mountain stages upcoming, same time as Fastweb 28 seconds behind.
Pervyj with two national TT champions get provisional third 13 seconds to the top though.
Here is the favourite team for today: TAP - Michelin, still they are only able to push Pervyj from the provisional podium, 10 seconds behind.
Pro Team Haier puts in an respectable effort to finish 24 seconds behind the lead.
Along with top favourite Pierre Rolland In and Out finishes surprisingly good with the same time as Pervyj.
Triks Custom Season lead by Spanish TT champion L.L.Sanchez (the colours of his jersey are the wrong way around) is the surprising team of today, they finish on the same time as the leaders.
Team Cymru Wales is very bad today, almost a minute down.
Also ITV seems not to have a top team here, just finishing ahead of Cymru 44 seconds away from the top.
The last team to start is Magners, unsurprisingly 33 seconds from the top.
Now the question is who the winner is, the organisators make the bad weather responsible for their failure not to announce the winner immediately. Now there are three teams, Bulgari, Triks Custom Season and Nintendo, hoping to be crowned as the winner of the opening time trial of the Giro del Trentino, which counts as one of the most important preparation races for the first Grand Tour of the year. After almost one hour of discussing ( that's why I am posting the report so late ) the race directeur shows himself to the publicity ready to announce the winner. But that won't happen, some call it destiny other craziness, as the DS of Nintendo, naked to the skin, runs on the stage grabs the microphone and starts singing 'We are the champions' of Queen to a visbly confused audience of reporters of local newspapers. Experts now try to analyse that behaviour as this is only a Continental Tour race and such excitiness seems somehow wrong. Some of them call Italian vine the reason others absolutely dedicateness to cycling. The last win Nintendo scored was at the Tour Down Under.
