The problem with Struisbaai being that it's a loooong way from anywhere that isn't a small town... and then it's basically Cape Town (for which i did have a route last year, Fish Hoek)

Hmm, true. Maybe Sunday - Wednesday combination could be nice. Mustafa Moli is 26th in the UCI so maybe a race in Namibia? |

If you fancy a 1600km transfer Windhoek could be a location. But for couple of days split then a range of places open up in RSA (Johannesburg being 1400km away).
Will draw up some options tomorrow

Also, list of riders most likely to join based on U23 World Championships or Continental Championships. These can all still be claimed by new players or existing players. Only Listerijn is taken.
They are still up for role-playing completely. All that's set is their name, nationality and WC U23 result. You can still create anything you want around them!

Less transfers between races, not more.
I'll take Stan Van Overberghe if no one else wants too since Bert Vos drops out. I'd also like to make a second sorta good rider, age around 28-29. Also Guido Visconti is likely to stay another year U23, or only does minor races me thinks but I'll let you know beforehand. Pieter Van Dyck is an interesting option but with Vague, I'm sorta full in the contigent of young wild guns.  Some more riders from Smowz, TMM or Selwink would be nice, too.

Okay, I'll note down Van Overberghe already.
Though keep in mind that if you want a new 28 year old rider, you should have an explanation why he is a neopro at that age (or a comeback after injury...)

He's no neopro, just a (failed) road rider who gets back to the sport he loved most now that there's a chance for olympic medal.
Yeah, I read it. Great stuff, I love the way you build up the canon of this world. Not long anymore and we need a wikia for this game.

I'm also working on some of the transfers. I'll release a provisional list later on (probably after the final race somewhere), take note it's all but final, though, just some of my input. We'll work things out so everyone is where he wants to be before season 2! |

I made Windhoek a few pages back, same location as Manhattan and Cairo. It's not a very Moli course though.
Also, loving this planning, I'll flick you a PM soon.

EDIT 2: I just realized why Lachy is awesome. He is extremely lightweight for a crosser. Don't know what I was thinking, he's some sort of Quintana. Also, Ronnie is bigger but still quite light. Oh my days what was I thinking?!

 Port Elizabeth

Other information: The lap begins with a series of climbs over the dunes. The sandy surface and sharp elevations take energy immediately from the riders. From there the lap settles down into a series of corners and straights. Around halfway there's a period of rocky/rough road before a final series of climbs back over the dunes. The final straight is longer than 100m but is punctuated by a final sharp climb by leaving just 100m of flat for the finish
Unchanged. Would work well in a Sun-Tue/Wed split with Struisbaai.
Fish Hoek

Other information: Just south of Cape Town this town hosts a very fine course. The route is testing but not tough and the surface is forgiving with little rolling resistance. the main challenge comes from the climbing with two 550m climbs splitting the course into three distinct sections. A long flat 400m finish straight provides enough options for finishers to spread out and challenge
Unchanged. Would work very well with a Sun-Tue/Wed split with Struisbaai.
 Lesotho

Other information: The small nation can put on a great race. One large climb dominates the route and is made tougher by poor soils and rockers littering the ground. Not exactly traditional but still tough and potentially a great boost to the region.
Unchanged. Could be done on a Sun-Wed split with Struisbaai.
Cape Town

Other information: Based ar the V&A Waterfront complex it's a purpose built temporary course. Almost entirely tarmac there are some cobbled sections, but they aren't hugely difficult. Very technical will an above normal amount of jumps, steps and obstacles in general. Great location for fans and a nice tricky course.
New. Good to work with Struisbaai.
Johannesburg

Other information: It's like a weakened Struisbaai! Decidedly rugged terrain but just a bit easier overall. Some rolling climbs rather than sharp kicks. Less tricky turns but more obstacles. Good length final sprint.
New. Work well with Sun-Wed split with Struisbaai.

Other information: Just outside George actually. Based on the beach so lots of sand. Rolling dunes to provide plenty of climbing, about half the lap is going up and down over the dunes. Not hugely tall just lots of short punches. Sandy ground adds extra difficulty. The long final 500m are dead straight and the one tarmaced section incase of a sprint.
New. Would work very well with Sun-Tue/Wed split with Struisbaai.
Not going to do Namibia as Windhoek was already done and any other location is a bit too remote/far to transfer to Struisbaai. But there's some options for you

Could you perhaps make a course in Switzerland to come a few days before the Christmas Classic (also in Switzerland)?
Probably for the Superprestige, so there can be some difficulties

Other information: What you'd expect from a city center event. It's tight and twisty. A short but deep sand section provides and early challenge. There's a few bridges/crossovers for climbing or running. A long, about 700m, cobbed section should shatter any remaining legs.
Verbier

Other information: Climbing time! The Verbier ski resort will be a tough test in mid-winter. It's a route dominated by loooong climb that will almost immediately count out the non-climbers. Certain to be snowy and icy the decent is going to be tough so the organisers make it as simple as possible. No real sand up here and no cobbles. A couple of bars back on the flat is about the only technical challenge beyond the snow and ice and cold
 Vaduz

Other information: A tough course from the small nation. Very technical with plenty of obstcles to navigate. A healthy amount of sand to bog rides down. And some sharp climbing for good measure. A tough event that doens't allow for a rider to settle and find a rythm.
There's also my Garmishc-Partenkirchen, Val-d'Isere and Varallo races that could fit in there.

With two more races, I've got another thing planned to end the season.
After the final race, the riders can take part in a football match! Captains Elliot Cook and Francis Vague are now looking for other riders to fill their team. The football match will be for a good cause.
