Gesink 77 MO, 76 HIL with (very) low STA, RES and REC seems good to me.

What has Gesink done the last couple of years to warrant 77 MO? |

@Pelli I could've said 78 as well.
But yeah, I expected a response like this.
And yeah, same level as Majka, Santa and Pozzovivo, indeed. And I really see no reason why that's be ridiculous.
But still, I'd take results of less than a year ago in account as well.
That's also for Sanchez, who I don't want to lower too much either.
And Gesink does have like the worst energy stats of the good climbers anyway...
And at last, I'm still no Gesink fanboy, and never been.
@gotlandrules Vuelta 6th, just a few cycling months ago.

I think Santambrogio needs a higher mountain stat than most others in the giro except Nibbles. He were really convincing all season minus the last week of the Giro, but that doesn't make him a weaker climber, or?
I don't think he could the results he got in real-life with 77 mt.

My point is that he will have decreased once the Giro starts in a career so he would have only 75 which would not allow him to get 2nd and 4th.
Btw, Intxausti lost time on Majka on every MTF so wouldn't give him 77

How about because he was weaker than all of them on all the mountain stages?

As said, I'd be the kind of stage-maker that doesn't only look at the last important race, but a few last important races as well.
Of course, the last race heavily influences it, but a bit looking back is never bad
And I don't have that only with Gesink, I have that with guys like Sanchez as well. It most of the time limits to last season though.
Anyway, we've got different opinions, that's clear. Still don't see the ridiculous part, and I won't see that soon probably. And Gesink 77MO makes him as strong as 76MO + A small bonus, since his energy stats are crap anyway
Edit: And links to Giro stages won't help, I saw the Giro myself, and I know that Gesink was bad. I agree with that, but it doesn't help me with giving Gesink 76MO

What about Schleck,i won't lower him too much, since he is aiming for Tour. Yes , i am fanboy, but i am only asking. His realistic stats now are probably somewhere between 72-74 , but he is aiming for Tour,so no one knows how good(bad) will he be,what's your opinion? |

I think 76 MO suits him well now, and potential 7 or 8 so he can develop his stats back to his old level.

Or,as somebody else said, "Andy not giving a fuck in these conditions, rather than having a bad form/day." |

74MO would be good for Schleck, I think. Schleck is just a whole different case for me, hard to estimate where to put him...

Waaaaaay too high potential, especially now that they've been lowered across the board.
Potential 8 shouldn't be used at all. It just creates ridiculous multi-strength riders with 80+ MO, COB and SP.

I wouldn't touch his MO/HIL stats,and maybe put him at 5/6 potential,or something. |

I'm not a DB maker so I don't know how much influence potential has
Just enough potential to make him 80-82 MO and 68-71 TT should be fine.

I hope that's "don't touch" as in "leave it at 76, where it currently is", and not "bump it back up to > 80".
