Batista15 - Indeed
Atlantius - Tough break on Henry.
Dippofix - Aha, I have the rest of his season planned out. You'll learn about it soon, tonight or tomorrow But you can count on quite some time off for the moment, Henry's not in the mood for racing.
sutty68 - Very true. Nice font, there. |

How terrible. Nice to see everyone in cycling paying their respects, but what damage could his do to Henry (psychologically speaking).
I hope he recovers, but this is a sad time. |

Just saw this now... wish I hadn't. I don't even know what to say. Fantastic writing for a plot that's so so so sad. Hope Henry copes with the lose well.
RIP Becca.

Jesleyh - It won't be easy...
The Hobbit - Psychologically he'll be a wreck, I guess
Matthew21rp - Tough days in Henry's life...
FonsDeSpons - Thanks, man!
duxili - Yeah, a lot of burden falls on his shoulders now. He has to take care of the kids etc...
Mresuperstar - Thanks, I'm glad you liked the writing. I was a bit uncertain about it, so thanks
Jakstar22 - What an honor to make the sig. Great to hear she was of value to you
Thanks for the big support, guys!
But where do we go from here?
You'll find out tomorrow. |

The more i think about it, the more i think i disagree with the teams decision. Of course, it's tragic, but why do they pull the whole team out? If i were De Gendt i'd be absolutely gobsmacked. This might be the only Tour he could ever win, at least with Celesio, and the team pulls out. I do believe he has been robbed to a certain extent.
And i had the same idea as Jak, but thought it'd be a bit OTT. It's nice the way it fits in there though.
Also, don't get me wrongly, i'm loving the whole story and like the way you pulled it all up, but i'm just slightly perplexed.
Spoiler Not sure on this, but please don't let Henry retire and/or do something stupid. Something about what you said last doesn't give me the best of feelings.

Shonak - Absolutely. Terrible disease it is. And this is only a story.
wosgrus - Yeah, you have to pay attention in my stories, or you end up on the dark side
Dippofix - I definitely agree with you. Team Celesio shouldn't have pulled out of the race. De Gendt will be pissed off and he has every reason to. Van Impe's mistake has always been that he favored Henry a bit too much, after all but for this story, I guess that's a good thing, so far.
Spoiler Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be
the_hoyle - Thins certainly happened fast, I admit.
welker3257 - Coping with such a loss will be a difficult task indeed.
Tough times ahead of us. Some of you already asked: where does this leave Henry? Will he be ready to start in the World Championship Road Race, in his own county nonetheless?
Find out in the next post (or not...)! |

Indeed, hard times for Henry and so little headlines are maybe the best way to describe his emotional emptiness and other feels. Hope he will race and that it gives him all the strength he needs to cope with his loss.
