I see the "Fine, Lance doped, but why isn't everyone getting the same treatment" as the last defence of the Lance-supporters.
You can't defend Armstrong by calling him clean anymore, all you have left is to try to put the perspective on someone else.
PS: I am not trying to single out anyone special. This is a general assumption.
PPS: I agree in the sence that everyone should be punished for their crimes, but would you have been this up in arms if it had been someone else than Armstrong?
Well they I don't see the difference between two cheaters.
If I dope in a few races and you dope for nearly your entire career and lie about it for several years aswell as harassing people and deliberately destroying their lifes, you don't see the difference between that?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Destroying lives has nothing to do with doping, so you can't charge more for it. And do you think those guys seriously only doped a few races? I'm not trying to defend Drugstrong, but I don't feel he should get leeway, I think others shouldn't get it too.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
Got around to see both parts of in the interview this morning.
Didn't bring any new knowledge, but I do take something with me from this interview. At times, I've felt like some weirdo conspiracy theorist when I've tried telling LA's blind fans what's been going on. The stories about the cover-up of the cortisone test, etc. - well, now we know it was true, and it does feel kinda nice to know I'm not a conspiracy theorist (or one who believes in them)
What annoys me is that he's still lying. Didn't dope during the comeback? 1 to a million chance. Luckily, he's convicted for doping in 2009-2010, so that's not "just" a conspiracy theory.
No meeting took place after Tour de Suisse? Funny, since this was confirmed by Saugy himself.
Donation didn't happen until after his retirement? Perhaps, but McQuaid confirms the deal was made in 2002 - only Armstrong didn't pay until he was reminded again in 2005.
Ferrari didn't assist in doping? Come on...
I'm glad he did admit to doping, but when he keeps lying it's sickening.

It's just his attempt at trying to salvage what he can, regardless he's lying or not, which he quite obviously is. He knows there are idiotic people gullible enough to believe him.
I am extremely embarrassed to have ever cheered for this man and defended him from accusers. I guess I was just too young before to realize what Armstrong was really like. He clearly shows elements of being a sociopath. In the Oprah interview, he still seems to struggle to tell the truth (pathological liar). A lot more will come out of this in the coming months or years. Lance ruined people's lives and does not even seem remotely sorry for it, he shows no emotion, which to me shows he doesn't really mean it. Anybody know of a way that I can change my username on here? As you can see...I don't really want "golance123" anymore.

Yeah
Lance says UCI needed money and asked him for it and that they were willing to wait 3 years. Lucky for UCI that they can forsee their spendings that much in advance.
A lot of crap in the interview.
