Good signing, one year contract, to see if he proves he's worthy of a longer contract, he's bit lazy at times.
Anyhow, good domestique for Keuleire in cobbles and general leadout guy.
Tiesj, deserved contract. Lotto did well to get both Verveake and Benoot this season, best Belgian talents alongside Teuns who went to BMC.

Why do MTN keep signing sprinting and flat guys instead of adding versatility. Adding a bunch of 3rd tier sprinters gives you no real advantage.

Well Boasson-Hagen and van Rensburg are not sprinters, Bos can only compete if the route is basically pan flat, I don't think Goss was ever really a out and out bunch sprinter, a good leadout guy but in reality needs a harder finish to match the fast guys. Farrar certainly was a sprinter but has either lost that kick, confidence or both but has a chance to find out what type of rider is. It is a gamble worth taking for MTN, picking up riders who have shown flashes of brilliance in the past for what would be a much reduced price, if only 1 or 2 of these guys can get some good results then it will be a success, look at the attention they received from Ciolek's MSR victory.

Not confirmed, right?
I can't believe this would happen. He never went to WT earlier because he always just wanted to be the leader. |

Agreed, this would be stupid as fuck. He will be better of just staying instead of being relegated to 3rd or even 4th. Unless, of course, that he will get some of that juice Porte, Wiggo, Froome and the other guys received and turn into a completely different monster. You never know. |

Roche still hasn't confirmed anything, but most reports say he's pretty much confirmed at Sky. |

I really dont want him to join the Sky train but its seems very likely with his agent bringing Deignan to Sky and that training picture with Richie Porte, I really believe he has the talent to lead a grand tour such as the giro/vuelta again

I'm not sure if that'd be too bad. Besides Froome, who do Sky have for GT's? Wiggins won't ever lead one again I think, Porte is way to inconsistent, Kennaugh too young, Thomas not a good enough climber (yet). I reckon he'd get to lead Giro/Vuelta and be a superdomestique for Froome at Le Tour.

If they bring in Konig he could lead top 10 in tdf, Nieve will probably get the nod for the vuelta. There may be a chance he could lead the Giro but will never get a full role and will probably end up doing the same thing as last year going for stage wins in the last week

That`s brilliant.
Had posted some days/weeks ago, that he is hoping to lead a team in a GT in future. This will obviously help him.
I hope that he can repeat his Vuelta 13/14 performance next year as well. |

Porte has no confidence to lead a team at a big GT, he always feels much more comfortable as the super-domestique.
It will be a shame to see Roche at Sky, the yellow top suits him better. |
