Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't my method give Gilbert the advantage on the shorter hills (Cauberg), while the higher MO stat from Martin, Rodriguez and Valverde gives them the edge on the more mountainous climbs (Mur de Huy/LBL climbs)?
Martin was among the best today, and winner of last year, so I do think he should be there with the best.
Slagter may be too high indeed. He's young and can develop further. Still, he's shown some nice stuff this year.
Vanendert is back on a good level, his lack of explosiveness prevents him from getting a top result. But can understand 78/79.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

He got upgraded to 79HI. His ACC is still lower than nearly every other Ardennes specialist.

Indeed, it would be a waste of time

Mollema?? Was really strong in FW and AGR. Definitely deserves as high as Ulissi and Uran (I think higher). |

I'd keep Mollema on 78, where he is now, with a relatively low ACC

And Sagan is not there, but it seems you only covered this years ardennes contenders, while likes of Contador, Sagan, Froome, Quintana, Evans, Degenkolb maybe, TVG, Talansky, Voeckler, .... should be 76+ too for sure (as i see that)

Degenkolb shouldn't be on 76+ hil IMO, he isn't better puncheur than Cancellara.

that is why i put maybe behind his name
I see him as 74-76 hill guy, but if 81 should be max and only two riders there, 74/75 would be enough for sure for Degenkolb, same for Cancellara i think.

Degenkolb is weird, I always rated him good on hills, but in E3 and Ronde he struggled big time on the hills. And cobbles aren't the problem, looking at his Paris-Roubaix.
For me, there were 3 really strong: Gilbert on the shorter hills of Brabantse Pijl and Amstel Gold Race, Valverde overall pretty good and Dan Martin in LBL. Rodriguez would've been there too, so those 4 stand out for me. All 4 also had good results the last few years, so I would keep them equal.
Right below that I put Gerrans and Kwiatek, as they didn't do anything but follow and use their sprint, nothing as impressive as the others.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Kwiatek showed some good hill climbing skills on Mur de Huy.
