Much better Phil!
Too bad Verboven couldn't hang on in the end though
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Verboven did a good performance almost surviving from the early break, however it wasn't enough to outweigh some shite performances from Kreuziger and Menchov

Paris-Roubaix is very much on the horizon (tuesday) so don't despair
Good races all-round in the Ardennes so far. Will put up a rankings update after PR or LBL, whichever comes second.

*** Favourites ***
Rodríguez (ABC), Evans (PGR), Voeckler (ING)
** Outsiders **
A. Schleck (ITV), Vanendert (ITV), Gilbert (LPU), Valverde (ITV), Contador (AGT)
*Can’t be underestimated *
Albasini (MCS), Froome (TUG), F. Schleck (ING), Sagan (IOQ), Kreuziger (NAC), Gasparotto (PER), Urán (CCC), Gesink (MCS) and Ruiter (ING)
It’s a hard day for a break to get away. With 200 km left of the race Lagutin (TUG), House (ITV) and Charteau (MCS) has 40 seconds to a six-rider group, a further 32 to an additional 5 riders and a total 2’11’’ to the peloton.
Slowly but surely those 11 riders made their way to the front trio. The 11 newcomers are: Chalapud (CAT), Cárdenas (CCC), Barry (BAR), Bagdonas (PER), Kern (TLI), Tjallingii (SGL), Peña (AGT), De Maar (TLI), Kadri (NAC), Gallopin (IOQ) and Bak (HAI).
Still plenty of teams taking part of the work in the peloton though.
With 130 km to go the peloton starts cracking. Among others Albasini is having a bad day.
With 100 km to go the break has 8 minutes to a reunited peloton counting 108 riders.
50 km and the break still holds 4’30’’
Froome is the first of the big names to test his legs. Right as the break give up their quest. Didn’t really amount to anything though…
So with 19 km to go he tries again. This time with a great reduction of the number of riders left in the front group.
12 km to go and 19 riders left to fight for the win.
Gasparotto is the next rider to move with 6 km to the line. Evans rides just as fast as Gasparotto attacks, so the Italian doesn’t achieve much…
Rodríguez tries as well, but Evans is really setting a terribly hard pace today. Really reminds me of how he chased Andy Schleck when he won the Tour de France back in 2011.
Purito does manage to crack the Australian in the end and with 2,9 km to go he has 25 seconds to Gilbert, who has a small gap to Voeckler, Evans, Gasparotto, Cancellara, Schleck, Schleck and Gesink.
Voeckler and Evans put in a mighty effort to catch Purito on the final km.
Not quite mighty enough though…

Purito is so hard to beat in PCM, but never wins this one in real life
A bit diappointed by Gilbert, he really needs to do better than a 6th place
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Once again great race for ING...
We probably lead the rankings massively now.
But again, that is necassary, we will lose a lot of our lead due to the Giro.

Rankings Update
ING | 70519.5 | Allianz | 64232.5 | Motorex | 44017 | Lierse | 36958.5 | Tulip | 33297.5 | ITV | 32836.5 | Caterham | 31196 | In-n-Out | 30941 | Lunar | 26898.5 | SGL | 26650.5 | Fastweb | 24595 | Haier | 19795 | Globant | 17945.5 | Pure Black | 17859 | CC Café | 12888.5 | Barrys | 8044 |
As you can see ING lead the way still. They have a great total but they have raced the most of any WT team, even so there consistency is looking hard to beat.
Allianz are second, and comfortably second. A team really designed for the GT's expect them to make moves for the lead very soon.
Motorex have now built themselves into a solid third place. And with a relatively low number of race days they should be watched closely, even without a real GT favorite.
Lierse lead the next bunch, which includes Tulip, ITV, Caterham and IOQ.
Lierse going well but without solid GT potential they could be expected to start slipping soon.
Tulip, ITV, Caterham and IOQ are all very close behind. Tulip are in the best shape, with few race days and real GT contenders.
ITV also look good for the same reasons.
Caterham are less good. A very high number of race days seem to be carrying them so far.
IOQ still living off Sagan pretty much alone. The rest of the team needs to step in through the coming GT's.
Next up are the teams of Lunar and SGM. Bothh with heavy focus on sprints and the flat roads, and it's starting to hurt.
Lunar are ahead, and looking better. Few race days and so far almost zero Cavendish. They won't be making moves soon and might need to glance behind them.
SGM going backwards ever since Oman. Lots of race days and little recent success has put them in a precarious position.
On the bubble its Fastweb. Decent rides have them outside the drop-zone, and with a gap behind them. In normal situations they would move up with the Giro, but they are not normal.
Haier are top of the drop. Don't expect them to move forwards though.
Globant and Pure Black are almost impossible to separate. But again neither are going to gain.
CC Cafe are down low. Again they won't move.
And Barrys are still dead last, but can take solace in the fact the teams above will not be gaining points, but can Barrys...
Ermm, ok there are the points. Really starting the settle out now, and pretty much in the way i was expecting. Of course the GT's will bring big changes, but i'd say at least three teams are now safe. Well in fairness every team still managed and that sent in planning is now safe...

Just out of curiosity, Jesleyh, what actual wins does ING have already? Your plan to get several top 10's seems to work rather well.
But Allianz is still my favourite to win

Nice to get a rankings update. Is it possible/easy for you to send the points/race for a team?
You have given me 90 pts more than my own calculations and I can't figure out where they come from

@Atlantius - Not really possible to be that specific. As usual don't forget Wear bonuses even in CT races.

Thanks for the update TMM ;)
@Ollfardh
Not a lot :P
Uhm, Willunga Hill, 1 at PN/TR, 1 or 2 additional from Veenhof, 2 Cobbles wins, and I guess that's it. You can understand that I won't vote on your rankings later on. It might be better, but my tactic would be useless then, and since I used my tactics from the start of the season, it would cost me a lot of points. ;)
I'm really losing track about which races raced when etc...
Is RvV actually raced? I really forgot, though I'm sure that I've seen it if it has been raced...
