Kalaba once again nicely in the mix. Tomorrow will be important for Cattaneo's top 10 attempt.

Very much a nothing stage for us, looks like Peak picked the wrong wheel but was starting so far back that a top 10 would have been a challenge anyway. Now onto the TT - here's hoping Razumov can get a solid result and Barguil minimise his losses. |

Well, it wasn't a stage win, but I'll take a Top 3 in a stage. Too bad that wildcards don't give ranking points though

Quintana again okay, but not impressive in the mountains. However, if Gregaard, Kamna, and Eg can keep up their solid minor placings, this will still be a good haul for us. We'll see how it goes once the secondary climbers start attacking in the third week though.

Back to being disappointed with us not looking interested at all in joining the breakaway fun in the mountains. Will be difficult to bring home any decent points now, as I suspect the breakaway quality will only be stronger moving forward into the final week.
Prasad for the sprints seems to be our best bet for stage glory. Good to see him again try his sprint, even with pretty bad positioning before the sprint. 11th is okay, and we go again and hope for better on the next flat stage! |

Great reports so far, Ulrich!
Sprints remain sprints. Conmiserations to several people who came here for some good flat results. Good to see PHL dominant yesterday, hope he can bring it home for Evonik.

Yeah why consider sprinting on todays Stage Farantakis? Makes sense to just look at others. This game is seriously broken.

Rajovic is predictably getting worse in each sprint. Pogacar was not up to his standards in the previous stage and with only 19'' ahead of McNulty, he is in serious danger of losing the white jersey.

Great result with three riders in the top 13, Bjerg taking a podium and Cattaneo moving inside the top ten. Hopefully the Italian can hold on.

Pretty neutral stage for us I guess. Kamna put in a good, but not amazing performance to get barely in the top 10, and basically swaps GC places with Gregaard because he's so bad on the TT bike. Quintana about met expectations, gaining on Carthy and Warchol but losing on most others. It feels a lot like Quintana is in the sort of behind the favorites, better than the outsiders position, and that seems unlikely to change, at least in a positive direction.
Wonder how much team will approach the second half of the race here now. I'd be happy with consolidation or aggression, as long as they don't just sit up in the gruppetto and lose spots for no reason. I've seen that too many times.

I guess that was a pretty decent time trial by Lecuisinier. Losing less than a minute and keeping yellow sounds very good. Still, the second tt looks more favorable for Phinney so we need to expect bigger losses there..

Happy with that result for Razumov, and Barguil managed to limit his losses reasonably well. Looking at the time gaps I think he'll need about 2 minutes lead on Pogacar and McNulty going into the final TT which will be a challenge, but isn't impossible given how the first few mountain stages went. |

The aim was to keep the white jersey, so job done from that aspect. Nobody really outperformed or anything and for now we seem pretty settled for 2nd place in the teams classification.
Pogacar looks good in 5th right now, but he'll need to gain a lot more time for the longer TT still to come. Also I expect the likes of Barguil, Rodrigues and Hirt to be on the move trying to claw back time.

Would like to see some aggression on a stage like this, particularly from Gregaard, but glad our top 3 made the front group and we can continue our good depth performance at least.

Without Vosekalns we barely stand a chance in a breakaway.

Close but no cigar. Still a great result from Giannoutsos, although we could really need a Stage win to turn a horrible run of results.
Congrats to Nesset though!
Also 4th on the TT was what I hoped to see from Vlatos in his final season as a decent rider.

Superb work by Barguil. I didn't expect any time to be gained back on this stage so 40 seconds on the likes of Pogacar and McNulty is a great result. |

So close to grabbing a top 5 by Preidler! Very, very happy with how we approached that stage. Getting Preidler and Van Poucke up the road was perfect. Unfortunate the legs weren’t better, but at least we gave it a proper try!
Big congratulations to Grieg and tastasol! Not the possible saviour they thought of pre season, I imagine, but I’m sure they take some Nesset magic to potentially save them from relegation.
I’m encouraged by this stage. Fingers crossed we can continue to race aggressive! |

I count this as a solid stage for us. No relevant time gaps were ever really to be expected. Would have prefered to not see a break succeed but with no previous kom hunter gaining points, that jersey stays within reach too.
Next stage will be a crucial one once again.

A quiet stage for us this time, but the good news is that the trinity of Penasa, Sicard and Barta finished together with the second group.
