300k for Eriksson is cheeky
That's like Bushwackers going, "we'll start the bidding for Kudus at a packet of crisps. Anyone interested?"
But seriously, it looks like the rebuild you mentioned last season is in full swing this year - looking forward to seeing how the Scandi (plus French?) youth programme continues on this year. Some solid talents secured last year, good luck this coming transfer season. We may be in touch in transfers

I think you'll be bombarded with PMs for Eriksson
Even I would probably be interested in a reunion if it wasn't for my poor cap situation

Thanks guys!
Regarding Eriksson, we really want to keep him, and would definately not be for sale had we been in PCT. The problem is that we need 14 other riders within the same wage cap
But if we can get his wage gone and also some cash, then we can hopefully sort of replace him with other interresting riders. |

I have a feeling the Eriksson bidding will end up far beyond that price.

We are proud to present our brand new 2026 jersey!
This year's design is inspired by the incredible landscapes of our home region Sunnmøre, where steep mountains meet the deep Norwegian fjords. We wanted a clean and modern look that also reflects where our team comes from. Tafjords colours has always been blue and yellow, and we wanted to build on that. The dark blue represents the fjords, while the golden details are inspired by the sunlight lighting up the mountains. The front features a sunrise over the sea, while the back captures the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains as the day comes to an end.
We can't wait to race in this jersey throughout the 2026 season.

Last but not least, Arturs Belevics will once again wear the brown and white colours in the time trials, proudly representing Latvia. The design keeps the iconic national flag at its heart, while incorporating subtle traditional Latvian patterns and a silhouette of Riga to celebrate his home country.
We hope to see this jersey at the front of many TT results throughout the season!

Going in to the transfer window, Tafjord had 3 goals.
- Improve the squad
- Lower the average age
- Try to sign nordic and baltic riders only
While we did manage the two first goals, we failed miserably on the last one.
If you count the british isles, there are now only 6 riders left within our focus area.
That's something we want to improve on next year if we are to promote, but this transfer season we found out pretty quickly that we simply didn't have the financial muscles to compete with the other nordic teams. We would of course have kept Eriksson also if we were in PCT or PT.
Our main goal now is to manage promotion. We are confident we can compete in most terrains, except cobbles and TTT's but if it's enough to promote, we don't know.
Anyway, we are glad to make history with this squad, as it is the first in our 13 year long history with NO riders over 32 years, which mean that there will be no skill decreases next season, only increases. We are very happy that we do not need to start on scratch next season but try to continue to build on what we already have.
Here are the finalized 2026 squad ranked by nationality instead of OVR
(First rider is loaned out to our friends in Los Pollos Hermanos, while we got the last rider Al-Ali in return from them)

While I am unsure of the value of Pira I think Stalberg and Page will be very good for you. I also believe that Belevics will help with some extra points on the TTs (though there are a bid bad TT rider present in the division). Good depth on hills aswell, will be interesting to see how that works out

Effectively swapping Fredheim for Stalberg and pocketing the extra cash was a cheeky little move. But surprised to see your team with so few riders from the focus region. I agree that maybe we can fix that next year.
Very curious to see how Pira goes! CT should be the best place for him.

@Heine: Thanks mate! I hope Page and Stalberg will deliver
Very curious about the puncheurs as well, cause we have no leader, but I hope we maybe can snatch a few points here and there by secondary positions.
@bbl: Hehe, I would love to chat to you next year. You have some interresting prospects for sure! |

Press release:
Following feedback from several of our new riders, the team has decided to make some changes to the proposed jersey design for the upcoming season.
The original concept was designed to be bold, distinctive and immediately recognizable. However, after seeing the design in its entirety, some of our new riders, Pira in particular, felt that the design was simply “too much.”
Old jersey:

While we wanted a jersey that would stand out in the peloton, we also wanted our riders to feel comfortable and proud wearing it throughout a long and demanding season. After further discussions within the team, we therefore decided to take a step back and move in a more simple, clean and timeless direction.
So we listened.
The new design keeps the team's core colours and identity, while removing some of the visual elements that made the original concept feel too busy.
“We wanted to create something that represents who we are without trying too hard,” said the team management. “Sometimes, less really is more. The feedback from the riders was clear, and we believe the new version strikes a much better balance between identity and simplicity.”
New jersey:

I see another transitional season ahead. Stalberg could turn out nice, but could also be a minor bust given his backup stats while the hills depth will score the occasional result but probably not the consistent big points.
