Brilliant decision by Bouglas to use his energy sprinting for intermediate points immediately before the final climb of the day...
Oh well.

Nice win by Quevedo.very opportunistic. Kraftwerk just can't avoid scoring as well. 2nd and 4th in a transition stage are some sweet points. Glad to see the panache from Novak and Min. Hopefully they haven't spent all their matches.

Bit strange to see Haas among the favourites fur these medium stages...wonder how it affects AI.

Rumac & Moazemi lived up to their billing as favourites for the stage with 2nd and 5th. This makes a total of 8 top 5 placings in 12 stages by 5 different Kraftwerk riders!
Nice to see Haller chasing for Rumac for a change. Yellow and green jerseys safe home with the same leads.
Congrats to maxime86 for a fine late attacking win from Quevedo.
Thanks for another great report Nemo and to whoever did the course design for some exciting stages and a tight GC race at the half way stage.
Three GC days coming up, need Costagli to show up to help Nerz defend his slender lead.

Chaiyasombat pretty much carrying the colors for us, alert riding keeps the KOM for a few more days and snatches another top 10. Was hoping Tivani could hold on and sprint that stage but his high res didn't offset his low hill.
I think Kuss is finding his level, hanging on for top 15ish placings, my fear that our team is just not quite good enough at anything to really impact the race is coming true. Perhaps McNulty has dropped enough time to take over the breakaway mantle, hard to expect a first year rider to keep carrying that load.
Nerz vs Warchol vs Carapaz shaping up a to be a great battle, Wouldn't be surprised to see Ranaweera put in a great ride in the next few days.

Great to see two more Isostar alumni in Quevedo and Rumac taking the bacon here!

Looks like I gotta stop hoping for breakaway points and back Gilanipoor and his 'stupid' GC bid, where he'll probably eventually have one bad day and throw it all away
Bravo!! It only took Pogacar 13 stages to make it into 2nd place in U25
Sorry for the rant, but between Saber doing jackshit in the sprints and our passive riding in week two, it's been a pretty frustrating race to follow
Rant over now Thanks for the report Nemo

The battle of attrition continues, Ranaweera with another bad day and Carapaz also struggling. Quite scared Ranaweera continues to lose time and then later in the race is allowed into the BOtD where no teams are strong enough to catch him as he sails away to the race victory!
Another solid day, Aru and Poticki with good daily form flying up the rankings - good to see for their teams. Novak and Min continue to animate the race, they seem to never stop attacking. Novak is a very scary rider coming into the last week. Warchol and Nerz still neck and neck, Warchol needs to get in front before the TT or he’s in trouble.
Thanks for the lovely report, Nemo

Fantastic stages from a neutral perspective. I love to see former Isostars Potocki and Gilanipoor holding their ground with some great performances against (on paper) much stronger opposition.

I'm at a loss. This game sometimes... why is my team all over the front all day unless Eg or Warbasse is on a +5? Why is our third best climber, on top 25 in GC, on the front of the peloton pacing with 65 riders left? We literally spent an entire day burning our helpers and giving everyone else a free ride, just for all of our riders to crack and drop almost out of the top 20 on GC. I could have played this better with my eyes closed.
To describe this race as catastrophic would be an understatement now. Our top 15 goal for the season is suddenly in danger thanks to these imbeciles. I'd say this back half has just been regression to the mean after our great start to the year, but in truth, we're now falling well below where most people predicted us to finish. The pendulum swung back and tore the team completely apart. This is hard to swallow.
Thank you for the tremendous reports Nemo. Objectively, there's been great action so far, and your coverage has been phenomenal. It's just hard to focus on that when your leader is losing several minutes each day to guys of similar or equal strength.

Congrats to PNS on the win! Potocki with another second place and moves up to 3rd in the GC while we also take the Team standings lead. Really interested in seeing how Potocki does in the final week because I could fear that he cracks.
I'll second what BBL just posted, the reports have been magnificent so far, keep em coming!

What an exciting stage brought to life with great reporting. I counted 9 attacks! Thanks Nemo.
Nerz only had Koch in support who had another good ride but Nerz isolated for the last 20km. Nerz played it cool not following any attacks and managed another top 5 finish for Kraftwerk, teasing out another few seconds.
However on one of the coming GC stages I can see the attack staying away. Costagli missing again, big responsibility on Koch's shoulders.
Haller home safe in the green jersey.
Congrats to tobiasandersen for the win.

Agree on the great reports and a very fun stage.
I think there is such a a lot of similar riders near the top that we could continue to see a lot of movement. Sympathy to BBl who does seem to be the big victim so far.
Long term I have to question the wisdom of McNulty working for Chaiyasombat but today he made us proud with the fight back for that first KOM. The only downside to his performance is I keeping having to check how to spell Chaiyasombat.

Min again doing his thing is great but I can't help thinking we're just hitting the woodwork. All in all it adds up to GC climbing but after all he's done our GC situation still seems pretty fragile, especially given how his low REC could come into play in the next stages.
Anyway, another splendorous stage to follow. Wonderful work again Nemo! Congrats to Pas Normal on a glorious win. I'm hoping Carslberg can pull off one of those outrageous escapades in the final week to offset all this nonsense their experiencing now. Looking forward to next stage.

Second week done as well now. Points update. As said before, this is done manually so will probably be at least a little bit off. I'll give another points update before the final stage.

Nice win from Azman, congrats to Shonak on that one. Also nice to see former rider Grmay take a nice stage result here.
Very happy with Riesebeek once again showing what he's signed for even if some people were questioning my 300k fee
