So we grabbed the "best of the rest" title after the bigger 3 riders predictably locked up the podium spots which is great to see
Even so, we didn't quite manage a stage win here in the race with Enger and disappointingly Meintjes on stage 5, but this turned out to be a pretty decent race for us all things considered. Obviously, the Tour won't be quite as good for us considering there will be a much stronger startling there but it will be nice to see what we could do with our best team there.
Also as a side note, I don't think I've seen a rider quite so comprehensively screwed as Reis over the season. The AI never seem to like him which is odd since I remember him winning the Tour de Romandie last season I think. Its just so odd to see him drop off the back all the time for no understandable reason...

I want to sincerely thank DD for putting up a great fight, we'll meet again soon and I'll eagerly await your attempt at revenge!
Morton certainly wants to give it a shot at the TdF as well, and while I obviously want him to stay behind, it would improve the racing to have him a bit closer to the top.
A special thank you goes to the AI for allowing this duel to play out so well, that was great racing and no GC favorite benefitted from any luck or weird situations. Just an honest fight on the road on every stage that mattered.
And we got a couple of the wins back that we gifted to breaks in the Giro.
Good fight, mate. Congrats. Herklotz is incredibly strong after that clever HI training. If Madrazo wants to win the Tour he'll need to slowly whittle Silvio down on the long climbs and strike in the final week: that's his only chance. He'll give everything he can to try and achieve that though. It's his last GT at full power.
We did a good job here reeling in the mountain stage breaks together; hope we can repeat that in France.
Can't complain about Madrazo's performance in this tour. He didn't have a single bad day and he beat some strong riders like Morton with apparent ease. Some nice stage podiums, including a win. Second in GC, points and mountain. I'm satisfied.
The game's treatment of Reis this season is appalling. And to make matters worse it also negatively affects the rest of the team. Terrible luck, Bikex.
And last but not least: thanks for the great reporting Ulrich!
Thanks Ulrich for the great reports and also for showing my team a lot, although it's tough to see when my 81 MO leader is dropped as soon as the road rises and has to be helped back by a 57 MO climber.
In the races I do it seems like King Power are always up to something report worthy.
I hope that doesn't mean anything bad for Dauphine.
Thanks for the commiserations ryant and DD, no idea either why this is happening to Reis, but now his season is over and the game treats some of my other riders much better, which in general luckily makes up for Reis' disappointing point scoring.
