Let's carry on with these one-dimensional riders. Ole Haavardsholm was with Compal-Merida last year, and today he signs for Adastra - Hell Energy Cycling. |

Quickly followed by Camier, the one-stat wonders are out in force now - their day has finally come!. Jean-Francois makes Awang look like Stoltz or Ji in comparison in terms of top speed on the flat - sometimes he gets to exact some revenge in the mountains, he just gets to them half an hour after everyone else!

Wait, how was Ole not given a contract? And how did he slip this far down the draft? Looks a good KOM hunter for hilly stage races

Haavardsholm maybe one dimensional, but 80 ACC is bound to help sooner or later.
Nice pick Ivan

Half time at the football and time for some draft action! Lejman purely in for an alternative to Hategeka in the hills. Nothing is expected from either rider in all honesty.
Guillen and Manarelli looks obvious picks and no surprise to see them already.
Berard and Camier were both later picks for GCN so interested to see them go already

When Novatek won the 2015 CT standings, a key rider was Kirill Pozdnyakov, finishing 19th in the Individual Standings. Out of a job now after Novatek left the scene? No, because CYBEX Platinum wanted him the most. |

Christian Egidio was a consistent PT presence in the past two seasons for Porto - Prio, 94 and 95 points earned each time. He has caught the eye of a team well known across the American continent, Azteca - NBCSN. |

He was my first overall pick, but I wasn't sure if I'd pick him - expected Tryg or Equinor to take him before me, but guess I was wrong

Haavardsholm was easily one of the strongest riders left in the pool so great pick there!

Ole Ole Ole!
Nice seeing another Scandinavian beeing picked but I sure hope a certain Swedish puncher gets a new home! |

What's this? A well rounded rider? someone didn't get the draft memo
He should be a good addition who can fill out lineups on a couple of terrains and help a TTT, I really like this pickup for Azteca.

Many a MG team loves a flat beast, and surely a few must have contemplated gifting our next rider a first pro contract. Jonas Rickaert is his name, and Netia - Vonin will be developing him. |

Pozdnyakov and Egidio - no complaints here, solid picks that some might have been targetting as potential leaders for their Amateur teams. Haarvardsholm as well - ranked 2nd in the MGUCI rider ratings of the un-signed crop (i.e. OVR).

I hope that was supposed to say 20??
Thorsen scored 43 points last season.

Mamyr Stash is returning to familiar territory. Novatek owned for the past two seasons, but 2017 was spent out on loan - at the team who has just signed him! That team NENT Racing p/b Hootsuite. |

If Rickaert can get developed all the way, he's surely a great pick with those leadout stats!

When Netia management found out Jonas was suffering from rickets, they immediately terminated his contract. Maybe they should get their ears checked. Rickaert is a solid pick-up - some development potential, but also useful enough on the flat to be a reliable domestique while he works on his (cobbled and puncheur?) skills. At 25 he might have thought he'd missed the boat in the professional ranks, but thrown a last-minute lifeline here.

Decent Leadout, Young, Still room to develop, knows the squad already, can't find anything bad to say about this choice, nice to see some loyalty to a dropped rider, even if it is one previously loaned in instead of one released for cap space.
