You'll have to wait a few more days unfortunately
The first preview will be out on 19th and the racing starts on 20th. It's close.
Yet to receive calendar selection from three riders. Please send them in today or you'll be skipped for the January races. If you have stat updates left to do as well, please do that first.

Game Setup and Race Rules It's time to get the season started. The following are the game-play rules:
- All teams will have seven riders start each race except for Grand Tours where eight riders will start.
- All races picked by at least one custom rider will be raced in 3D mode. All other races will be simulated (all races have been selected by at least one rider this time).
- If all custom riders retire/miss time limit in a stage race before the last stage, the remaining stages will be simulated.
- I will start each race with Adria Mobil, who will act as the control team. They will not have any involvement in the outcome of any race.
- Important race events involving the custom riders will be included in the race/stage report as far as possible.
- Race previews will be posted in the Teams, Riders and Races thread. This is also the discussion thread for the same.
- Stage and Race results will be posted in the Calendar and Results thread.
Stay tuned for the preview of the Tour Down Under, the first race of the season, to be posted tomorrow.
Cheers and All the Best to everyone playing

The first preview is up, and the season is officially underway
For those still to send in tasks, I can't include you for the January races any more but you can still participate in the rest of the season if you send in the tasks on or before Sunday, 23rd June. That will be the final deadline. Tasks will be closed after that.

After a season without highlights (Basque Country was sorta OK) Christiansen will have to prove himself in Spain, bring it on !

The 2018 RTG season has come to an end. The final points update and the GP table have been posted here.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this season and made the running of the game enjoyable for me. Hope everyone enjoyed it as well
I hope to be back for the 2019 season in a few weeks. And I also hope that the game can keep improving.
As always, your thoughts and feedback are welcome. And Happy New Year to all

Thanks for another season, definitely not the best for my guy but we'll see how it goes.
I think the riders need a big update in the offseason if they ever want to win a race, but somehow I also like the more realistic pace compared to other games we had where riders win monuments in their second season.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks for the season Abhi. As Ollfardh said the slow, realistic burn is a nice pace and I think this game is bubbling into something really great hopefully. Huge effort from you, rest up now!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks for another fun season, Abhishek!
Especially when including the training points our riders are already beating decent competition, Alunderis even outscored Ackermann! Life of a domestique, I wouldn't mind keeping the status for a while. Maybe a one-time small boost (and higher starting stats for new riders) to make the odd good result possible...

Thanks for all the hard work Abhi. The pace you maintained for the whole season was great and with the slight streamlining of the calendar and a similar pace the progression will come.
The key challenge is to keep players interested which might mean a "generous" progression is considered.
One thing I would like is a bit more flexibility in stat improvement to create a hybrid rider such as a hilly sprinter. However I don't want to create much more work for you and I am happy to continue with Harry Stanley under the current scheme if that's the decision.
Happy New Year and looking forward to a new season.

Didn’t have the time to follow much on the last couple of months, but I’ll be back for another season and see how I can improve Abdessabour after an underwhelming year. Cheers for keeping this running! |
