Think purepasd and FreitasPCM are onto something - good chance that the four mentioned riders by them are the top 4 or close to it, with their best scoring races of the year.

Amstel and Turkey results up! (sorry Freitas but wouldn't make sense to write after AGR as the points pretty much all came from Turkey )
This is quite shaping up, although I gotta say I've been playing a bit conservatively in the begining of the season and also saving the extras, but to choose for Amstel was quite hard, and it turned a disaster, this is really gonna be noticed in the final few months, it's gonna be hard to keep the same scoring
Well Bland Races I changed it in a way that when one doesn't make picks for any reason, I use Bland Race for him to have scoring (until the 5 are spent). They are meant to be used (for example in a race you don't know who will score, or some race you know you won't be able to pick).
Using it everytime one doesn't choose would be unfair for the others.
Yeah, but my point is it shouldn't be calculated on the bonus scores, but on the standard scores (without the bonuses). The bland score becomes really high now because two people use a bonus.
I see your point. But looking back Turkey was actually one of the very few races where it could've actually made a difference, but seeing that (in this specific case) the ones with Bland Race got the points of the 6th strongest manager (jseadog), only Freitas' presence made difference which would've been very little if any.
But either ways it is the actual points that a manager scores in the race, so I really don't know if there's need to change this, if other managers weigh in on it I can do something.
