sammyt93: Thanks. Both of the Icelandic riders have ridden offensively in the past, so I'm hopeful!

You did so well in NCs, wow! Not liking the non-tricolour French jersey, even though the other three look moo-ty fine as per usual!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Croatia: Thanks x 2
jandal: In deed an amazing haul event though we hade no opposition in Finland and Iceland.
Not making a fully classic tricolore for France was always going to be a bit controversial, but I think it's ok with the full kit where everything is recoloured to match. I wanted to keep the style to make it easily recognisable while also staying away from the "Movistar approach".

I like that you went with a Valio recognizable design instead of a boring tricolore where others have no idea which team it is

Valio - DeLaval Awards 2018
With the world championships finished it's time to look at the titles everyone were really waiting for.
Guest of the Year
The by far closest of the votes. In fact we even haad to have a tie-break vote inside the team to find the winner:
Spoiler
Aviv Yechezkel
Tied with Kari Brynjolfssson in the fan vote Aviv took home the title thanks to being more visible in breakaways, especially in Course de Solidarnosc where the above picture was taken.
We wish Aviv the best of luck further on in his career. Be it with Carlsberg or somewhere else.
Loan-out of the Year p/b Evonik
With no real standout performances and the riders placed on each of the bottom two PT-teams last season this was expected to be a very open vote.
Spoiler
Awet Gebremedhin
Awet likely took home the award thanks to often being part of a slightly more succesful setup as well as showing himself in a breakaway once.
Finncattle of the Year
And the award for best Finnisg rider of the season goes to:
Spoiler
Jesse Kaislavuo
Jesse made the most of his amateur contract by riding his way into your hearts as well as into the history books as the active rider with most wins (not counting jerseys).
Taking stage wins two years in a row will surely help him when time comes to find a new contract.
It certainly have helped him grow as a a rider and we are very happy that he got the chance when we weren't able to give him a contract after our relegation.
Bull of the Year
The biggest award was also the least exiting:
Spoiler
Cyril Gautier
Gautier started off by dominating Tour Down Under against the PCT-riders and never looked back ultimately taking the title as best CT-rider and even the prestigious Bulll of the Year.
