Morton still climbs as if he was MO 80... at least Dennis shows our colors here.

Glad Madrazo was stronger than yesterday, but because in the end Dombrowski and Sicard came back it didn't really help him in GC. We'll need a monster performance in the final TT to still reach the podium. 4th should be well within reach though.
Vesuvio and Andy were very dominant here. Quite sure he'll finish the job in style.

Madrazo still has a chance to podium this I guess in the TT if not more, but his recent performing really is disappointing as usual. Schleck on the other hand keeps being too good for everyone, and it certainly doesn't come as unexpected. Thanks for the nice pace danny.

At least somehow better from Velits, no changes in GC at all though.

Very nice stage for my Evonik lads
2 in the break and getting the KoM Jersey is awesome !

Not sure where exactly my team is (a ranking update would be cool!) but keep in mind i needed this start to avoid relegation. Mind you how many mountain races are still coming where i will lose lots of points!
Well I know where the different teams are - But your position was primarily meant as a no brainer as to how you and Becherovka have performed in the start. I think it is great that a newly promoted team can build a team like that. I think you will be in top 3 after February depending on Milano San Remo, where you should be among the top 3 scoring teams - If nothing crazy happens.
I do agree that you have the lack of climbers to pose a serious threat towards the overall, but if you keep getting atleast the amount of points you should (or in your part - more) then you should be ending up around 5-10th, which is great as a debuting manager for sure. Especially with your history of promoting!
You obviously know more than me but that sounds very nice
I don't know the PT scoring tables are still rather unknown to me (I know CT ones a lot better ) and i tried to enjoy the season start without looking at the points too much so I didn't know that being that high was a no brainer.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Nice podium for Amador there. It looks like the best he'll be able to finish is 4th in the end. The hills will probably be pretty uneventful and there are some great riders close behind that will be hard to fend off in the TT. Schleck is obviously the favorite to win at this point.
It has been a very enjoyable race so far. Great reporting!

Good win for Demare. Really dominated that sprint. Hope Kump can deliver in some tough stages like that aswell.

Lecuisinier doing well here. If he can keep 8th I will be very happy. 9th seems the most obvious though as Velits is a better climber and just 30 seconds behind. 2 minutes on 10th place should be enough, but time will tell...
Schleck killing it here to get a MASSIVE points haul. Too bad that Madrazo can't bid him up for the dance, and this deems well for Schlecks shot at winning the Tour de France I think.
While Lecuisinier is doing very well, Jakub Novak is doing horrible! 77MO, 73HI, 76TT. He should be around 20-30th.

GC wise, Morton will disappoint. Maybe he can somehow surprise in the TT, but I doubt it.
Dennis though did very wwell with hhis breakaway appearances und a nice KoM win! A rare achievement in Oz history (our second, iirc, after Gerrans KoM in the Herald Sun Tour 2013.. if I recall things correctly here).
But now... please show some signs of your MO 82, Lachlan

Excellent so far, should really be able to seal a podium and the white jersey in the TT tomorrow, very content with that.

Nice attack Madrazo. Shame only 2 riders wanted to try something.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Demare without training already is godly in these stages. I don't want to see what he can do with some boosts here and there...

Too bad that the mountain jersey was lost today but Greg makes up for it with another stage podium. Thanks for the report !

It's a shame to lose the points jersey given that today could have been ideal for holding onto it.
Thanks for the reports. Once again it would have been nice to get just one extra screenshot towards the end of the sprint, because tight now it just sort of jumps to the end.

Stage 6 was more normal considering my Norwegian climbers, but Galta is holding on as good as he can. Though, it's really tight behind him in the GC, fingers crossed he can defend himself up Col d'Eze.
Really cool to see Holst Enger put in another very good sprint. No stopping Demare though, such stages will be tailor-made for him not only this season, but also seven seasons from now Congratulations, cio93! |

Schleck as dominant as ever! Best climber for sure. A pity tht Pluchkin is going 2 GT way as this way it`s very hard to really know this for sure seeing rare clashes with him.
Keizer about where he should finish. That said, still unlucky that he always is just behind the first split while Lecuisinier, Kunshin, Van den Broeck were luckier this time gaining this time way.
Wonder if a non injured Daan Olivier could have delivered Keizer into the first group once.
I wont lie that i am pretty sure Schleck is the best climber in the MG, so we try to avoid him as much as possible.
Really dominant performance, i hope Aleksandr can do something similar when his time is here. Congrats SN and thanks for the report sgdanny!
Karnulin jumping into top20 is good, maybe he can gain a place or two in final uphill TT.

Disappointed with the way this race is ending, Holloway missing out on a top ten in the sprint is frustrating. He has had three chances and only really got his nose in the wind once.
Schleck dominant - pretty decent from Dombro (bpost have had a decent race also)

Had hoped for a podium in the ITT, didn`t even get a top15.
In the end I am sure now that Keizer was not badly injured but still handicapped after the crash, which also explains, why he never was active missing the ~10% or so.
12th in the GC is solid though. Not excellent but about where he should finish in that race.
Olivier will get other chances, lots also on his own. So he better crashed here instead of his main races. Still not ideal to see someone like him in 66th in the U25 ranking only.
Thanks for the reports, sgdanny! Very consistent 2 a day. |

Schleck proves he's far too good once again. Gratz SN and thanks for good pace and quality danny, especially with T-A as well!
