Degand indeed a nice pick that late. He was always somewhere in the top half of my list but never really made it. With him going back, he should start to do better again.
Kluge...not too sure about him. More a pure helper guy and even with Chavanel leaving, I guess Haussler and Elmiger are IAM`s leaders in the Northern Classics.

Hoping that Capiot or De Tier will 'do a Topsport' and have a huge season like Theuns and Van Asbroeck in the past two years. Lots of gambles in my team really, it's going to be interesting to see how many pay off.

Guess my hopes mostly rest away from the main stream races, which suits me fine. Hope y'all have fun in Europe whilst i clean up with my doping regimes Pfft

Thanks roturn for the final update.
I'm very happy with my team. As roturn wrote 16 of my riders are Spanish (7 from Pais Vasco). Besides that I have a big fraction of Italians (5) and 3 more riders that are alone with their nationality. I thought I'd sign more than one French. Spilak is also a nice team leader for me. The only rider that doesn't make that much sense is Chtioui, I was actually quite surprised when I got him, as he wasn't that far up my list.
Only 3 of my riders are 25 or younger, but with Soler and Moscon I think I have two nice talents. Overall my age average is only 28 though.
Looking forward to see what Landa and his Basque team mates at Sky, Nizzolo and Spilak can do in the 2016 season. Smile

Quite happy with the mentions of cheapest team and 2nd most national team. Now to actually score points Wink
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Really looking forward to the season start. My Tour Down Under team looks pretty nice with several top10 guys:

TAARAMäE Rein
PANTANO Jarlinson
FERNáNDEZ Rubén
HAAS Nathan
WOODS Michael
MANNION Gavin
JONES Brenton

Pantano aims for a top5 himself. Fernandez and Haas were there last season or even the season before as well.
Woods is a wildcard as I have no idea how he handles the WT peloton. Same with Mannion.
Jones then for some sprint results even though for CQ points everything must be perfect for him I guess.

Though for a good season I need Kittel to deliver, Taaramae to continue like last year, the smaller leaders to score decently and the ~7-10 talents improve. Unfortunately not having a GT rider really, which always hurts point wise.
Though the very best were cut anyway, but still a couple of very solid ones out there like Majka.

My list of talents is the wet dream of every MG manager; shame I can't keep them when the season is over. Grin

My riders are very good, im happy with them. But i made a silly mistake, i picked Christophe Laporte, but i wanted Latour. My shame Embarassed

roturn
Still, Laporte is definitely not the worst rider picked that time. Also being 23 of age only.

Well, I expect to take the lead after aussie and new zealand champs thanks to Gerrans... After that, a top 5 is the objective

Couldn't send in a list while on holiday, but Bagot and Antomarchi are both decent and could have a good season, I'm really quite happy with my team on a whole. Grin Even though I know I won't win. Pfft

Picked up Mareczko, Haig and Kudus as my talents (maybe S. Yates too) and Cancellara should score quite a bit while my sprinters such as Swift and Rojas should be really consistant so hoping they all live up to my expectations.

Currently my Down Under Squad looks like this:

WYSS Danilo
LIGTHART Pim
ROJAS GIL Jose Joaquin
SWIFT Ben

So hopefully Rojas and Swift race well there as it currently doesn't seem like too many top sprinters will be there compared to previous years (at least looks like Gripel, Cav and Kittel will be absent I think)

Expect the following riders to go for the first CQ points in this league. No surprise that they also will be on top of the first ranking update afterwards.
Obviously the NZ NCs are at the same time. But due to the big difference in points rewarded, the Aussies should be the more dominant ones.

The ITT tomorrow only has 3 riders, which is bad news for some of you as some riders skip the race, who had a chance to score.
The RR on the 10th has almost all Aussies included. Only 3 are missing, which is unfortunate for sgdanny as two of them are in his team.

This is going to be very interesting. I became more and more happy about the riders I got the more we progressed, hopefully some of the younger riders I've got are able to improve compared to their 2015.

Guess I've to hope for a successful Tour Down Under for Tinkoff, having McCarthy, Boaro and Valgren in my team Pfft

Well done putting this together, roturn, and thank you for the overview of the Aussie NCs.

roturn
PCS still has no startlist for the Vuelta al Tachira. But from what I found elsewhere it seems that it`s a big race for sgdanny as Matteo Busato is the only starter here. Wink

This will most likely be a very quiet january, come on Europe calendar Grin

Guess who almost won stage 1 in Tachira. Pfft
Must settle with 2nd though. Not bad for a rider I never heard before.

First Ranking Update of 2016

The first races are underway. The Aussie and NZ Nationals are over, Tachira has started, San Luis, Tour Down Under or even the La Tropicale Amissa Bongo are starting soon. Many of your riders are participating in those races. Some teams a bit more, some a bit less.

Obviously this early January update sees the teams with Aussie riders at the top as the Aussie NC`s by far give the most CQ points in comparison to the NZ one or Tachira.

sgdanny tops the ranking for now. The sensational NC win by Jack Bobridge`s 90km solo is giving him the most of his points. baseballlover312 took profit by Cameron Meyer`s 2nd in the Aussie NC. A good start for him in his new team. jph27 is not having a lot of point opportunities this January. Though he started well due to Bevin`s and Smith`s performance in the NZ NC`s, while roturn is just 1 point behind due to Nathan Haas`s peloton sprint win in Australia. ember (McCarthy), NicoVirenque (Gerrans) and Roman (Howson) are the only other managers with points selected. Though NicoVirenque surely had higher hopes with Gerrans.

Except for Busato`s 2 points, we have a full NC ranking so far. Those 2 were selected on stage 1 in Tachira, where sgdanny has the only league rider in the race.
Bobridge btw. already colleted 66% of his 2015 CQ.

Really surprising win by Bobridge scoring some neat points. I do follow Busato closely in Tachira daily, so I hope he can do some good Smile He definitely has the potential to do well, so hope he can score more than 2 points Smile
