Once again, great job with the report! Lovely TT-report with lots of details and infos :*
Didn't expect a win, so I will take that strong 2nd from Koren and some minor points from Rogers, too. Too bad Koren had given up on the GC before, he really could have finished better than 21st (if he does) here, given that a not much better climber like O'Brien did quite well in the mountain stage.
Speaking of O'Brien, I gladly take that result today as well. Had expected him to drop a few more places, so if he finishes this race off as 15th, he definitely deserves a special bonus from the DS. Can't expect such a guy to deliver, but I always liked his stage-racer's overall package with some decent support stats. Still dunno why he went for 50k in the transfers, while Nathan Earle (for example) went sky-high

That TT could have gone much worse. I'll certainly take 8th and 9th in the GC after tomorrow's stage. Looking at a good points haul here.
And who knows, maybe one of my riders will be in a successful break on the final stage and get another 2nd place?

While i'm happy that Uran is in the lead, i'm a little worried for the stage of tommorow. It should be fine since it's a flat stage, but i've seen strange things happen before, so it's not over till it's over.
I'm a little suprised though, that Uran actually lost that much time on Bibby on flat course, since Uran should be the better TT"er of the two.

Really looking forward to this final stage. Could be huge for my team!
And great reports Gustav, especially like the ones where my team does unexpectedly well.

Yeah, just caught up with last two stages and after small disappointment in mountain stage Popo bounces back like true GT veteran and overcomes Cataldo in the TT to grab the final podium spot.
Now fingers crossed for calm final stage and finish on that podium, which would be great boost for our actual goal of avoiding relegation.
Uran and Bibby are simply too good and deserved 1-2 at the moment.
Thanks for the nice reports Gusta! And also for the great regular speed.

Unfortunate for Cataldo to miss the podium after being so strong in the climbs. He really would have suited my team in the role Gomez Marchante is now having. |

I am pretty happy that it happened.
Even more when his manager was last time online in June 2014.

Yeah Manager wise you are correct. Better to see active managers taking the top spots.
Just like Cataldo in real life (not his new team though) and wanted him pre season. |

Nice TT report, Gustavovskiy!
And great results for the team, 3 guys in top 15 GC right now that´s good and by that leading the Team classification! |

Happy how the TT ended. For Nieve the 7th is awasome as Betancourt holding the white jersey.
Now I just hope we don't have the same luck we had in Austria on the last stage...

A couple of anonymous stages for us there, but I wasn't expecting anything. Interesting to watch the GC battle there though. Thanks for the good quality reports Gustavovisky. |

Yes, another great report Gustav, as they have been all race.
Fantastic time trial by Bibby, really glad he has got a stage win to take from the race - wasn't quite expecting him to beat Uran by so much, and to come so close to the lead, just 23 seconds. Pity it wasn't 19 or less, because the final stage does suit Bibby - so long as the break doesnt win.
I almost made this my Win goal race, instead settling for a Top 5. Seems like that was the right choice. Although saying that my Win goal was Tropicale, and that went awful, so maybe not!

Thought Skujins would win as soon as he went in the break, so very nice for Avin that it turned out to be Rabon. Handy reverse-leadout by Grosu, getting Rabon to be at the front.
Probably just as well that Bibby didn't win, else the GC gap would just be too annoying.

I'm very happy that Uran managed to redeem himself in his last race of the season. This gives us a little more breathing space when it comes to promotion (i hope).
Thanks for the great reports and the good pace of them, Gustavovskiy!

Koren
O'Brien with a nice 15th, but despite the prologue, this was a shitty race for Oz: no breakaway appearance in nine road races, Koren not going for the GC and losing minutes today. Meh, didn't expect too much, but the lack of effort behind O'Brien was underwhelming.
Gratz, Avin. Nice tour for you and of course Kami and SN! And LLS! And thanks again for the great reports, Gusta!

Thanks a lot for the reports! Really enjoyed reading them, but I kept getting let down by the results. My team did nothing worth mentioning here and its not like I didn't bring riders capable of anything either. Waste of race days (apart from developing non-maxed guys I guess) but still could have been put to better use.

Was hoping for someone to be in the breakaway but oh well.
Great GC for us with Infantino in 8th and Arredondo in 9th. Fantastic race for us at HC level with none of our 'leaders'. Superb end to the month for us. Thanks Gustav!

Thanks for the reports Gustav! Was a very good race for me sitting at home, with Meiji and none of the teams behind not scoring brilliantly to keep me on course for the top 10. Looks like I won't catch Jaguar now though, and Swedbank might be a rising threat. Congrats to Bacardi, and also to Euskaltel on a really impressive performance! |

Yeah, what a win from Fery Raboň.
This concludes the great Volta a Portugal for us, with stage win and Popo 3rd in GC and several more top10 finishes in stages. Really one of the best races in weak season and this should help Metinvest to move further from relegation zone.
Iiirc this is first PCT stage win this year not coming from Grosu, but he was again important part of the success as SN suggests, he shielded Raboň in reverse lead-out.
Congrats to Bacardi and Jaguar, it does not feel any bad to be beaten by riders like Uran and Bibby. Overall great race, big thanks to Gustavovskiy for great and fast reporting, this instantly become one of my popular races during whole season!
