sutty: Hard to argue with that
martial1: Very nice job in deed!
VoetsT: Agreed. Every win is nice, but the first is something special

Copenhell - a well-known sponsor of a certain team, isn't it?

sutty: Hehe, I think Download usually has a pretty good lin-up in deed
SSJ2Luigi: Story or music? The first will pick up a little pace, the second had some pretty fast moments though there we're a lot of "slow" music this year
the hoyle: Couldn't agree more
Shonak: ...and not by complete coincidence

New Zealand Cycling Classic
Stage 2: Palmerston North – Apiti – Palmerston North (144 km)
We are in for a tough job to control things on this stage as we can’t expect much help having both the GC leader and a stage outsider in Ewan.
As expected we had to do most work in the first 110 km and Røinås, Teshome and Drobisch did great never allowing the break to get out of reach.
With about 30 km left we started getting some more help in front by the teams hoping for a good bunch sprint.
Riwal did good trying to set Alex Rsamussen up, but launching the leadout at front with 3 km to go could be a bit toon soon. At least we hope so since Pérez and Ewan are close behind them.
Rubén did a good job, but ran out of energy a bit sooner than hoped for and Ewan had to make a long sprint since there was no one else around to follow.
He did his best and almost got a podium in a sprint that only got closer the shorter as they approached the finish line.
Sadly todays winner also had a good TT so the bonus seconds were enough for hime to take the yellow jersey from Campbell.

Lost yellow, but he's still in second, Caleb narrowly missed the podium, and you have the white jersey.
All in all, a decent day.

Music, I don't mind the speed that the story is going.

Martial1: We can't expect taking the GC in our first try either
SSJ2Luigi: Good, Suicide Silence did bring a good bit of speed to the stage though
sutty: True, even though it annoyed me that he lost 3rd place (and bonus seconds) so close to the finish line...

New Zealand Cycling Classic
Stage 3: Palmerston North – Kimbolton – Palmerston North (164 km)
A stage similar to stage 2 and with the same recipe for us except we no longer have the yellow to defend…
Synergy Baku and 5-Hour Energy are happy to do all the work right from the start so we got spared from that today. Hopefully that will mean we will be able to provide Ewan with a better train today.
With 15 km to go a very dangerous situation arises when McCallum hits the tarmac at the very front of the peloton with a very fast chase going on.
Fortunately my boys managed to avoid going down so they were there for the finale looking very good with NTFO in the front of the pack.
Rubén started his leadout with 1,5 km to go, but again today he couldn’t deliver much of a kick.
Better than Caleb though, who hit an outright off-day on the day of his biggest chance for a win yet!
