Great report, really entertaining read eventhough I´m not part of race. I´m curious fore how long Maillet will be able resisting to big guns!

Congrats numbers on a big win in the PCT circuit.
Happy to see De la Fuente still in 2nd and it looked like CSC did most of the work to bring the favorites back so that's great. Strength in numbers proving enough to stop them from gaining time (or the downhill finish but I prefer to think my team was just that strong at chasing ).

Good work team. Feillu showing why I wanted him and taking a great win, while Maillet looked pretty comfortable and Gadret and Elissonde had a relatively stress free day. Just got to keep up on the summit finishes now, hope 77MO + leader's bonus is enough |

Another day, another breakaway for B3B. Liking the activity which i didn't see from my climbers last season. Also didn't i just say i expect to Sarmiento on the move!
Huge result for the CT team, well deserved from the break and a nice thing to takeaway even if nothing else comes along

Decent stage there, Samwel staying with the favourites. Need him to start climbing the overall a bit now, with the gap to Maillet still quite big. |

So like I predicted Efimkin will have work for Topchanyuk...
This AI may actually help me if 2nd tier climbers like Maillet and Topchanyuk are able to stay clear...

Thinking it was a pretty anonymous stage until I suddenly saw Orozco pop up from nowhere to be 12th, bodes well for the coming stages.

Someone please explain how Fan Hsin Chu managed to do better than Feillu. That's twice now he's underperformed. Maybe he can sneak into a breakaway if he loses a bit more time.
Well it looks like Feillu listened to my orders! , what can I say? Couldn't have asked for more, it's a successful tour for me already.
I do feel a bit bad for all the teams with big favorites that breakaways are taking the stages.

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Had to catch up on a lot here, and despite Heider giving us the expected podium on stage 4 (though I wasn't expecting that from him) and taking some time from the better climbers, I feel like Maillet and De La Fuente at least won't be caught by Nerz anymore and Heider will slip down.
Plus that could've been Nerz as well...he was really aggressive last season in the PT stage races attacking mid-stage all the time, this would've been the move!
Not happy that the harder stages didn't end in a group sprint for the win as well, I think Kelderman and Nerz are some of the better sprinters amongst the ones being around.
Thanks for the quick pace tsmoha!

Continues to be exciting racing in Venezuela. Obviously happy to see Nutresa continuing to be aggressive; starting to pay off with JP Valencia's performance 2 days ago, then Quintero on yesterdays stage. Uhh, if only his downhill was a wee bit stronger, should have been with the leaders at the line. We'll take any time gain on the main favourites though, burning up the team to make sure he got into the move proved worthwhile (although left no one in the main group). All on Quintero to carry our hopes now, not unexpectedly I suppose!

Absolutely bizarre. Can't understand why Maillet would be struggling, but also can't understand why we wouldn't chase. It's not like it was that selective, 71MO Sonnery was 5th!

Oh god damn it. There's no gaps and a big group comes to the finish. You have bloody 75 ACC Pedraza, 75!!! Attack god damn it. And this is ridicolous, Boeing will never go down if this keeps going all season long. |

Do they have to?
On a more serious note, this stage was indeed strange to follow. It almost did hurt me Not only because the contenders always sat up once their attacks were pulled back.. I'll now enjoy people throwing everything their got at PCM13

Outsiders being advantaged by PCM13. Well. My transfer season obviously were going the right way then.
On a more serious note. I expect those kind of results the most in C2 and weaker C1 races. In PT I guess the stronger team depths will have less problems to chase the breakaways down, while in the weaker divisions there might be 1 leader and 1 backup and then not the strongest guys behind in several races.
Let a 75 rider attack and only have 1-2 riders with the same stat per team, then it might end like we see here in Tachira. |

I'm a bit disappointed in Rudaskov, but I guess he's not much of a star. Wishing for better performances in the next stage.
