What happens if every bid I make for a rider is lower than everyone elses? Do I get no riders?
There will be a second round, and then, if you haven't met the minimum, your team is filled with U25 riders from your home nation.

when can we expect the first results?
and if you're outbid by a small margin do you get the change to raise your bid in the next round? |

Hey guys,
using lachis Excel Editor I made a preliminary excel sheet by extracting the DB.
Sadly I have no idea where to get average from, so it would be nice if somebody could finish this who is more experienced with it. However, I attached this one and it will make things easier for the beginning I hope until somebody else can finish it. Still, at least nations and age are right.
I hope I could help with that.
EDIT: New rar attached, some mistakes fixed and age added.

Thanks Silvio!
Now, to answer Luigi's question, you will have a chance to buyout the rider's contract. Specifically, you must offer said rider an amount of money, and then you take over their wage. You have as many chances to buyout as you want, but remember that the rider has his price. One that you don't know.

Am I getting this right that there will be some wage cap and transfer cap, so that buying out riders will cost you transfer money and higher their wage, while keeping the riders from first bidding rounds will cost you no transfer money and just wage money?

I'm confused too, isnt a buyout usually for getting rid of a rider? |

Team A has Rider A. Team B wants Rider A, and has 200 spare "money". Team B offers Rider A 100, and then, assuming that the offer is good enough(based on random success), Team B takes the contract.

So that money goes to Team A? or does it leave the system? And what if Team A has only 20 riders (the miniumum amount)?

Is there a minimum bid amount? Could I bid just 1 for someone?

Money leaves the system. In the case that Team A has only 20 riders, Team A will be filled with U25 riders from their home region.
@the_Hoyle: I only accept bids in multiples of five. My OCD will explode if you do otherwise.

Could we please somehow establish minimum wages? Even if we don't have averages, we could take the two top stats or something?
Eg: (I know that is surely not balanced and not as good as AVG and everybody will hate me for that idea, but just to give an example)
Top2 stats (FL, MO, HI, TT, PR, CO, SP, ACC) divided by two will give you a provisional AVG (which is worse than the usual one, but easier to calculate) -> Minimum wages for every 2 AVGs (eg 300 for 80+, 200 for 78+, 140 for 76+, 100 for 74+, 80 for 72+, 60 for 70+, 40 for 68+, 20 for everybody else)

If you would have said three days ago, maybe. But almost half the teams have sent bids of some kind, and they shouldn't need to rebid because the rules were changed. Hope you understand.

I don't like the buyout thing, but i can see how it would go part way to leveling the game. I would make it so you cant buyout the 20th rider in a team, because frankly that team just gets f*cked over hard. I would also make some money go to Team A as compensation, otherwise there is not a lot of bonus to signing the highest riders now.

Send a PM. You give the name of the rider and tell how much you bid. This must be in steps of 5, starting with 5, 10, 15 etc.
