A common misconception is that Ronde only has cobbled hills. There are normal hills as well, as well as flat cobble sections. Haaghoek (followed by the Leberg), Kerkgate followed by Holleweg and Mariaborreweg (between the Stationsberg and the Steenbeeksdries) are the most famous ones. You also have Varent, Paddestraat, Lipponhovestraat and a few others I can't think of now. They rarely decide the race, but it's enough to take out the non-cobbled specialists.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nice little feature from Cannondale, to announce squad in graphics for every race.

We all know Cancellara will try to win. In recent years Milan Sanremo, E3 Hereelbeke, Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix are the only races where Cancellara has tried to win. He is probably not at his best, from lack of aggressiveness in MSR. But hopefully he will attack this race and not wait for sprint.
Bonnen we all know was in great form and should continue and remember he has strongest team. If he cant Terpstra or Stybar can.
Waiting for racing to go live!! |

It will be bad for Vanmarcke if both Boom and Wynants are injured.

With Hofland being ill as well I think Tjallingii is going to be very important then. I do fear only Tjallingii won't be enough support.

Ciolek and Stauff were in a mass crash earlier today. Two team mates waited for them but then all 4 were led to a wrong direction...
Now MTN with 4 riders only left in the race. |

Maarten Wynants, according to Belkin's Twitter, has abandoned the race after his crash. Hopefully Wynants is alright after that crash, but he was looking a bit battered.
