Even though it doesn't make up for everything, I'm very glad Purito got revenge for the worlds. Next year LBL, Giro, Vuelta and worlds too, hopefully!
Great race from Majka as well

May I ask why you are such a huge fan of Purito when you condem others with connections to doping?

No never. I will never forgive you.
Nah whatever he was out of it once the climb was over and then it was a race for the podium. He lost out on it, but he's just been really unlucky lately. not much you can do.

Purito has an amazingly limited connection to doping, for a Spaniard in his early 30s.

Last time I checked, he didn't have any doping connections (other than the list of teams he has ridden for of course, but Tondo tought us that you can't use that as evidence).
Plus, I wouldn't say I condemn everyone connected to doping. The only riders I really can't stand are jackasses like Schleck, Horner, Wiggins, etc...

Which is not a lot. One big difference is their progression, which makes Froome a lot more suspicious than Rodriguez. |

Indeed. Now only Tour "Money for UCI" of Beijing.
Actually Tour of Beijing is race where UCI loses money......So they don't get rich by arranging it. They hope to get more money from the Asian market in the future, but all you sure know that.
Great ride by Purito, and Majka 3. aswell! Bad luck for Martin, did he get the 4. place or? That Astana guy came fast as the very last. |

I wouldn't be surprised, but his injury was rather severe, so it takes time to recover from it, more if you're not exactly a workaholic. If he doesn't show a significant improvement next year, then I wouldn't expect him doing anything remotely decent again.

Chuffed for Serry, was always going be tough to move to OPQS at beggining of the year, but he's back to his best. Looking forward to see him perform on similar level next year.
I agree, he was one of the biggest surprises here and it is superb to see this sort of result.

Apparently, AG2R signed a new, very talented cyclist called Pozzivivo. He was really strong today. At least, that's what the NOS tells us
