AMEX suffers through another tour. Our sprint train seems capable but Kupfernagel has let us down all season. Signing him to lead our sprinters was a huge mistake and one that has seriously impacted our season.
The only good news is that our younger riders both sprinters and punchuers have developed nicely and will improve and there will always be the Northern Classics in the spring.
The rest of the season is heavily in North America for the AMEX team and next season's sponsorship[ will more than likely hang in the balance.

Posting a screen with one of my riders just behind a crash - are you trying to give me a heart attack, roturn?
I was really freaking out for a moment. Very relieved that Caruso made it through, at the same time as it's sad that some other well placed riders were struck by bad luck
Great race in the end. 4th is a little better than I was expecting. This should strengthen our position slightly above the relegation zone further!
Thanks for the terrific coverage, roturn!

Thanks all for the positive feedback. It was actually a lot of fun to play this race. In especially the 2nd mountain stage, which played out very nicely.
And sorry for those heart attacks. Was not on purpose and I will give my best to avoid those in future.
The crash on the last stage was nasty. Had hoped to finish the race without a crash. But at least the very big pointers did avoid it and the others didn`t lose too many points. |

You can always sell it to Adira in next season .. I'll be more than willing to take the risk of have him in the team

You'll get Lo Cicero for to eggs and a slice of bacon as well...
However, amazing report once again roturn. You certainly made our bad appearance here a little less bad Keep it up mate! |

Lo Cicero and Maksimov... That would be a fun combination to have.

Firstly, thanks for great reports as always, Roturn. I was keeping up with this one via my phone, and that stage win had me celebrating in the staff canteen. I don't think anyone saw me...
GC wise, obviously a little disappointed, especially since a crash cost us some points, but i've got to be pleased, given the course.
