Impressive finish from Acevedo. Frank also did awesomely well after that monster pull.
Rogers blew up completely in the end. Probably followed Van Garderen's attack for slightly too long.

Under different circumstances, Dombrowski would be doing well here...

Entertainment aside. Wasn't a smart idea to race in these conditions. |

I'm guessing it's this https://tourtracker.amgentourofcalifor...ornia.com/
Americans love their stats and detail in sports - tbh the (big) geek in me loves it too. |

Why wouldn't you love the tracker? Everything you need is a click away.
Acevodo with great ride. Van Garderen did better than expected for me on those super steep slopes. Deignan continuing super form as well.
And finally Rogers after overcoming his sickness is back.
Haga and Craddock did beastly too, Morton on 16th is not too shabby too for him.

Definitely. 44 degrees of celsius are just too,too much for cycling in desert.

That tracker looks sweet (now) but it didn't work for me (I only came home for the last 3 km of the 2nd stage) so I had to watch on Eurosport.
According to your comments, there should/would be a live coverage also, right?
But that stage was just deadly due to high temperatures and that climb. The helpers had to hold the riders as soon as they crossed the finish line, else they would all have fallen. Some might not even have reached the finish line.
I have seen a rider stuffing his pants and jersey with ice cubes.
I have a suggestion. They should install cold water showers every KM, so that riders can pass underneath while riding by.

Started at around 23:00, yes.

Oh I misunderstood you. I thought you meant all the extra things, like profile, live text updates and stuff, but I think you mean being able to rewind the actual stream.
I dont seem to be able to do it however, but I know I could rewind the commercials. It might not be until its over.
You were absolutely right, you can replay the whole broadcast from wherever you want now!
Just go to "stages", choose one already done and select "show replay" on the left.
As if this wasn't already perfect...

Van Gardaren has this race won already you would say. Will walk over most people on TT, except for GC guys like Meyer and Rodgers, but they are a way back.
Good from Cam Meyer today, though probably followed Van Gardaren for too long. Really blew up in last two k. |

Who could win today? Is it too hard for pure sprinter?
