Andy Schleck discontinued?
Nope, 90th at '23.
It seems that the link(Cqranking) only showed the riders with the same time as the winner...

The stage only finished an hour ago. Give them some time.

Just noticed Vanendert DNF, any news on him? Tony Martin also lost a whole heap of time, I fancied him for the race at the start!
Quintana I reckon for stage 3, though Henao and Contador could be dangerous?

Last year he did prove he's top quality contender at Ardennes at least and he didn't have Ibarguren.
Anyway, he was just as sucky last year as to this point in this year. He DNF'ed Pais Vasco as well after being quite shitty.
And then just showed his form once before Ardennes, at Brabantse Pijl, and this is where we should watch to see what type of form he will come to Ardennes. Although if he doesn't perform there, you can't rule him out as outsider.

Haven't read the topic due to obvious reasons.
Downloaded the stage. Watching now. It's a british eurosport transmission. I have only one question. This "Brian" guy who co-commentates....on a scale of one to fucking stupid how much of a moron is he?
He hardly goes two sentences without saying something stupid.
Assuming you mean Brian Smith, he is usually pretty good so I'm quite surprised. Not as good as someone like Sean Kelly but he still knows a fair bit about the sport.
Saw today's stage. Nice commentary
Also, his accent is hilarious
I had no idea Impey was there.
EDIT: And whoever asked what happened to Martin: he crashed hard yesterday

Formality with a leadout like that that Impey was going to win. Fantastic performance. |

Taaramäe crashed yesterday..
Today he admited that this season preparation has gone something totaly wrong (again)..legs are so empty.
I just wonder when this guy will listen or have person to listen to train propely. This self made build up testing is just riddiculous already.
Give him Riis or something similar already.

I hope Taaramäe doesn't go the same way as Mandri. |

He is totally lost for sure, this is like fifth season when he failed to build up properly through training and preparation, or at least that is what we hear from him. He is wasting the talent in Cofidis.

And Martin crashed on his arm at this KoM crash on the first. He still finished with only +28s but yesterday he had pain as well and didn`t want to risk anything. It`s the same hand/arm, where he got hurt at the Tour last season.
He still hopes to perform well in the ITT but he doesn`t know yet how he will feel then. |
