First time watching Tour of Flanders and it looks like an interesting Race I didnt knew such races existed until last Year. Cobblestone races are very unpopular outside Europe I wonder why? |

Cycling in itself isn't all that popular outside Europe, so that might be a reason why.
I think they can be very fun or very boring. It's a nightmare watching a 250km race where everybody waits untill the last 20km do make a move. If we could get some rain in there it would be great.

Does that happen very often? I remember a few riders here and there walking their bikes up steep cobbled climbs in the past couple of years, but never do many at once. It was like half the peloton.
