Lotto will resign with Greipel, Roelandts, Hansen, Sieberg and Henderson , giving the team great outlook for future with key names on board next year.
New sponsor will come aboard during Tour, the chemical company Soudal. Hence inreased budget.
Also the team will have higher budget ( from the Lottery ) for next year and will add new riders to the team in 2013.
“Recently I was together with some people from the National Lottery,” he told Het Laatste Nieuws. “We quickly agreed that in addition to retaining the leaders, that there should also be strengthening throughout the team.

Finally Lotto's moving up. Those five have already signed a sort of contract, giving their trust to the team. |

Lotto's sponsering will go from 5 milliom to something higher. (They can't say the exact number yet.) So team budget should be higher compared to 10 million this year.
Time to cut off some of their weaker riders. Bulgac, Neyens, Van Leijjen, Bellemaekers, Cordeel are just not good enough for a WT team. Most of them only got a result in the Tropicale Amissa Bongo this year.
They want to keep 1/3 to 75% of the team Belgian so they should search some good Belgian replacements.
Some of the Topsport Vlaanderen riders who missed a WT contract this year come to mind. Wallays, Van Staeyen, Van Abroeck, Armee and Sprengers who was stagaire last year come to mind.
Two talented non Belgians are probably needed aswell. Preferably with some UCI value points but not another Sohrabi.

If Vacansoleil and Blanco are ending after this season, then Lotto can do a great job by contracting Vanmarcke, De Gendt, Boeckmans and Wynants. Future of RadioShack is unsure too, so Bakelants, Hermans and Monfort could be options as well. |

Wanted to add that aswell. Especially Wynants and Monfort in Lotto could be very nice as they finally could get a full leader role in some races.

Van Staeyen is just short of being WT quality IMO. Other than that those guys would be good and they could also try to get De Bie to sign for them. Also Timothy Dupont from Ventilair could be a good buy and would presumably come at quite a low wage given he has never raced at this level.

Van Staeyen definatly not for the big races but he can get top 10's in races like Pologne. Definatly an upgrade over Van Genechten.
Stuyven should become pro aswell. He is also good enough to do so in a WT team.

Oh yeah Stuyven goes without saying though I think he is likely to go somewhere like BMC or Sky with an almost infinite budget.

I think Hermans, Boeckmans and Wynants are the most logical names for LTB. Monfort, De Gendt and Vanmarcke are too much wanted by other teams with much higher budget.
For non-Belgians I heard rumours about Gallopin allthough it's far from certain that they're going to get him.
Too make room for newcomers I would let the Vanenderts go. Jelle hasn't done very much since TdF 2011 and his lucky shot in AGR last year, he's way too overrated. Dennis is totally WT-unworthy and only got a contract because his brother.
Reynes is very much past his best days and Neyens doesn't seem to have improved very much since he signed with Lotto a few years ago. But I wouldn't cut off riders like Bulgac, Robert or Cordeel etc. They're still very young and might improve a lot in the coming years, like Debusschere or Bille did.

Don't think Vanendert is overrated. He's incredibly strong but very prone to injuries. He should be guided better, as he also lacks that professionalism that Van Den Broeck has, for example. But VDB is probably most committed rider in the whole peloton, really.
Lotto is doing good this season, though, giving riders like Bille more chances in lesser races, but attracting Hermans or Boeckmans would be a big plus.
Vanmarcke is not necessary, Roelandts is coming up strong enough! |

I don't know about Lotto's points haul this season, but if it's as bad as last year you might want to add in some "pointful" riders |

I really hate that points-system.
But don't worry, Lotto will have plenty of points when VDB has won the Tour and Vanendert won the Vuelta.
Okay probably not. But I'd much rather see them with Hermans and Boeckmans than someone like Sohrabi. Something's wrong with the system.

Greipel's Down Under victories, Roelandt's 3th place in Ronde and VDB's 7th place in Romandie are pretty much the only big WT results Lotto made this year. They lack Meersman and a good Vanendert. |

Meanwhile, Uran is all but confirmed to leave next year. OPQS and Astana have both shown interest in him.
Henao might go as well, although he seems closer to staying. Apparently, they both want a leading role in the Tour, which they're not getting while riding for Sky.

So basically planned out as I thought. Uran was always going leave, Henao however might a future role at Sky, however even that is not certain.

In my PCM career Uran went to Euskaltel, but I don't think they have the budget in real life

Cause they'll get a leading role at Astana or OPQ???
If i were either of them i would go to a smaller team like AG2R or Vacansoleil if they want to lead the Tour.
