I had expected Winden to do a bit better on the timetrials, but third in the GC was more than I could had hoped for. If Zabriskie can do the same in Russia, then it's been quite a good week for ING.
Great race for Bpost and Rothaus, they are really strong atm.
Interesting race, it's nice to know Vantomme has improved from last season, and who knew he actually can win sprints!
Nice reports as well, but there seems to be something wrong with the startlist, since Konovalovas is riding both here and in Sochi, and in the calendar the 2 races overlap.

True indeed, he finished this race as 13th overall and at the same time,he is sitting at 7th GC spot at Sochi Tour.

Good race for me, completing my only C1 Goal of the season.
But what usually happens when a guy is spotted at two races at once?
Don't wanna lose my only victory of the season.
I believe that replaying the whole race will not be the case, that would damage many people...there will be some other solution. Edited by Avin Wargunnson on 15-03-2013 12:19

Theres two AirBaltic race planner race files. One with a couple of race clash errors, and one with them all fixed. In transferring the 80 or so planner files to startlist form, it seems the wrong one got used.
Konovalovas should only have been in Sochi - it should have been Siskevicius at Olympia's Tour instead. Konovalovas won't score any ranking points here, anyone below him in GC will be shifted up 1 place.

I did think that was odd - my apologies for causing the confusion, but I guess it's good considering his better performance at Sochi. Imagine if it was the other way round, I'd have been heartbroken
