Very polite actually.
I'll try and run through in order what will happen
1) Final race, season over
2) National championships run and decided
3) World Champions decided by a vote. I nominate 3-5 riders for RR and ITT. Anyone then votes for their winner
4) Promotions and Relegations. 2-5 teams promote and relegate.
5) Contract renewals. You negotiate with your riders a contract value. There will be a wage limit to meet. Here you can decide to not resign a rider.
6) Youth Signings. Can sign any of the new youths you've scouted, and this is when any pre-signed youths will join
7) Draft. Teams will be able to draft in any of the free riders.
8) Calendar. New race calendars get sorted.
9) Season starts again.

Sorry for the noob question, but where can I find the variants? Do I need to check them out ingame? If so, can I do that with my PCM11? Thanks for the help

No, have to do that ingame, at Single player-> Stage/stage-race.
I could give you some information about some of them, just ask
Oh, and the suggestion in the post above me also works, but not every variant is in it I guess. And it takes a little bit longer maybe...

Well, I found the first 2 variants (Tirreno and Paris-Nice) in the Stage Database.
For the others, I searched the mentioned Sub-forum looking for the authors' posts. |

Some interesting variants out there. Never experienced a cobbled TT.(Eneco twice) Paris-Nice only got hilly stages, big amount of mountain stages at Catalunya, enormous amount of summit finishes at the Tour etc.
Oh, and, to be Frank, there are too many TT kms at the Giro...

I just don´t understand why we should do World Championships and National like you said, why don´t we just use other route or even I´m sure you could implement official route to stage mode and then make a start list with national teams? I think it would be more fun than vote for a WC... and to NC we could just run bigger championships (GB,USA,..,..) Is there something I´m missing? |

You have a point, I just think that it's a lot of work to race the WC like that.
And TMM already said that he will run the existing NC's Spoiler so you missed something

Well, I guess it's at least more work, since you can't run it in stage mode, only in career. Don't know how much more work it takes..

Well, not sure how. Maybe using Chrono des nations for ITT, and some other normal stage for WC? Maybe using random numbers and 'drawing' a random stage?
Oh, and will you use the variants for the NC's that got variants?

Chrono i can use easyish, but only if we have an actual RR as well.
Nationals, same as stage races. Random if so.
