First of all, the party after K - B - K was just awesome! I want to thank everyone for coming and celebrating with us! One hell of a night that was. Hope I don't have to pay for it today, though!
Only one section of cobblestones, which is repeated four times. But it's one hell of an uphill. It will break up the peloton more than once without a doubt. The race will finish in Dour, where the yearly music-festival of the same name is. It's a renown drug-festival, so let's hope the riders aren't too doped today!
My day started, my legs feeling like shit! The first three times over the cobbled hill weren't too good for me. I lost touch with the front riders.
Landbouwkrediet really put some effort into the chase and they broke away with their team!
While Stybar and myself were following, not too far behind.
But the race was chaotic, that's the best I can describe it. Thomas won in a sprint with a few riders, deservedly.
Strangely enough, I connected with a rather large group and I got to the front, where I just avoided crashing, the ones behind me where less fortunate. I gave full gas and I managed to stay out of their reach for the final sprint. An opportunity well grabbed, I reckon, finishing 8th!
I can conclude that even though this wasn't the best day for me, I made a great result. But I don't really think I deserve it, with the fall and all, you know. But, that's racing. In cyclo-cross is wasn't any different. Grab the chances you get, is my motto. I couldn't find the result anywhere, unfortunately, since I raced back home right after the race.
Driedaagse van West - Vlaanderen starts in a couple of days, where Bart will return after his minor illness! His chances of winning the prologue are not too slim!
See you there! |

JuanMotr: Well, he likes to party But he'll probably won't party the night before the Ronde
sutty68: Thanks
maxime86: Normally it shouldn't stand in his way. He has a decent chance at West - Vlaanderen, with his prologue.
Daggen: Tom didn't enter in Samyn, otherwise it's safe to say he would've won
ste_18: Thanks! |

PCM rulezz: Thanks a lot! I hope to have a good one there!
FreitasPCM: Thanks
the_hoyle: I'm glad you enjoyed it!
As you might notice, things are running on a tighter schedule than usually for me. Can't really plan my pcm-time (hehe) well, so there's no telling when I'll have time to do the next report. But if I got an hour coming up, it'll be the first thing I do (except eating and sleeping, as I plan to staying alive, too)!
Thanks for the massive support so far! |

Thanks, Jakstar22
It's still getting busier and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I barely have enough time to spam the forum anymore Will do the race when I have time, hope to have some on my hands soon |
