I hope your sister likes cycling.
(I hope you will forgive me for the joke)

Hi everyone! That's right, I'm logging in for the first time in several months.
Firstly, sorry. Things didn't go as planned, and there have been many issues, non of which I want to talk about. Just know that I'm sorry for lots of things, including my inactivity and my shoulder. Trust me, let's just leave it at that.
Secondly, thank you. Many of you have been very supportive and helpful, especially those involved in the organization of the man-game and other teams. I have a lot to catch up on, and not a lot of time to do it all in, but I'll get there.
Finally, don't worry! I'm feeling pretty good and actually have movement etc. Also, off of most medications etc and should be free from any further surgery.
In hindsight, I should have logged in earlier, but I really haven't wanted much to do with cycling at all in the past few months. That's all changed now though, with the Giro having just started and all... As they say, once you've caught the cycling bug, you can't get rid of it...
I also plan on being a bit more active with the man-game and actually being a manager and the like. Hopefully, the team hasn't done too badly with the very rushed planning that went on pre-season... I'm just hoping that we're not last by much!
Thanks to all of you once again! You've all been great!
Edit: It's good to see my English has improved (cough cough)...

A quick update on goals:
As the Tour of Taiwan has been completed, and the Tour of Japan is under way, now would be a good time for a brief update on where we stand with completing the goals set by our sponsors.
Tour of Taiwan
This race started well for us, with Peeters managing to score himself a podium position on the first stage.
This success didn't continue through to stage 2 however. The team fell apart in the lead-out, but Makino still managed to grab a top 10 and pick up some ever important points.
Not a good day for us, although that was to be expected on the queen stage of stage 3. Still several more to be raced at this point though. The same can be said about stage 4, 5 and 6. Choi did manage to put in an amazing effort though to grab another top 10 finish.
For the final stage, our last chance at scoring our goal, Peeters feel short by the tiniest of margins, finishing second behind Davis.
Overall, we are pleased with our results, but they could have been better.
With still most of our goals to come, this season is still rather open for us. We hope for much success in the future!

Wow! A fan base AND success! That's awesome! Thanks for the link, I'm sure I'll be spending a fair while going through all that. I've also just found out that we won a race, and it was a C1 too! I still need to read the race report yet, so no spoilers Also, thanks for the welcome back.

No spoilers, definitely. But yeah I've been cheering for you every time I see you in a race. If you can avoid last place (which I think you can), that will be a great effort given how little of your budget you spent and the other circumstances.

Notable Success
While the Dwars Door Vlaanderen wasn't one of our goals, Peeters managed to surprise everyone with an amazing win here. He went out in the early morning break, and quickly gained time over the field, beating his companions to the line as the peloton breathed down their neck! I wasn't there to see it, but I hear it was one hell of a ride!

Thanks! It actually means a lot to me. And TBH, I think that I got a lot of riders for an absolute steal, including Peeters. Especially now that he's amassed some stellar results.

Quick Poll: How much of a shock was Peeters win at Dwars Door Vlaanderen to you? We at JK Cycling knew he could do it all along

It was more shocking to see than my last victory... And that says a lot

After several months of an unknown whereabouts, DaBobScotts, team manager for JK Cycling has surfaced. With many unsure of his whereabouts, and not sure on the future prospects of the team, he has been willing to give an interview.
Interviewer: It has been a long time since we last saw you; way back in January in fact. A lot has happened since then, and you didn't appear to be apart of it. What happened?
DaBobScotts: An unfortunate accident left me out of the game. However, the amazing staff at the JK Cycling team were able to continue without me, and even score some impressive results. While we are not leading the points classification, the team is doing exceptionally well.
I: On those results, what do you think of Peeters spectacular win in the Dwars Door Vlanderen? That surely was not expected.
D: No, it wasn't. The cobbled classics were not something that we had on our agenda, but some of our riders decided that it could be a fun day out on the bike, so we decided to let them loose on a couple, Dwars being one of them. Peeters was obviously feeling good, but didn't fancy his chances against some the favourites, especially with so many cobbled sections close to the finish. He just went with it, and pulled an amazing result that everyone is happy with.
I: But of course, that isn't your only result.
D: No, it isn't. We have had a few podiums through out the first part of the season, including several at the Tour of Taiwan. We unfortunately missed our sponsor's goals of a stage win, but can't really complain with two podiums, especially against that field. There is also a lot of opportunities to come.
I: Like the Tour of Japan, that has just started?
D: Yes, that is one of them. All going well, we would like to pull off a top 10 there, and our riders have form. The opening prologue proved to be tough, but there is still many stages to go. I'm actually heading over to Japan to watch the remaining stages after this interview, so I should be able to provide you with a managers perspective over the next few stages!
I: That sounds great, especially given your recent inactivity. How do you see the team's standings in the Continental Rankings?
D: All things considered, we are well placed. There is only a handful of points between us and our closest rivals though, so the next month or so is going to be tight. We expect many of the teams to slowly run out of steam as the season progresses, and we hope that we can capitalize on this. We do need to pick up a lot more points in the Asian standings though.
I: Do you think that it is possible for you to place in the top 10 for those standings?
D: Including the PCT teams? Yeah, it's possible, but it is going to be very difficult to do. Our riders do like a challenge though, as we have already seen this year, so anything is possible. A few more rides like at the Tour of Taiwan and Dwars Door Vlanderen and we can achieve it.
I: Thanks for your time.
D: No worries.
