@Dippo - It looks pretty good, some nice small features that make a real difference
@tyriion - Only one long term plan, getting a Bulgarian team into the worlds. Otherwise it's pretty much season to season for the time being. Hopefully we won't be a full on sprint team for 2014, but of course having a good sprinter is key

Thank you so much for releasing JTL and Chicchi . The former was top of my list if I get into MG next year, and the latter will also be a main target. Hope I can cash in and get in .

The Sound.... The all new version is still in development but the work is moving forwards. It will be a huge improvement and there are some good features planned. It won't be coming back quite yet, but the plan is to make an appearance when New Managers can start applying, or before if work speeds up. Just to keep people updated.
Equally our transfer plans seem to change stage by stage now, with some riders really proving they should stay, and others pretty much confirming their exit. A full update will come in time, but the teams has some big races still to come which could make a huge difference.
Not big enough to gain a lucky promotion though

In addition to the teaser a couple of days ago i can confirm that The Sound now has a proper template, and will be making the jump upwards to PDF file! That said this template won't last forever but is good enough to get the magazine off the ground again.
As yet our big interview is unconfirmed but hopefully it will be locked in this week! Our second interview is almost tied up as well and will be a great one to read.
Couple of other articles based around the 2014 season, just going to need permission to run one of them.
Stick around as we are not far off!

End of season etc. etc. Promotion etc. etc.
Right, The Sound! Awards have been decided and finalised and the new issue is 2/3s completed. Currently conducting an interview with SN which i will then need to add. Also got to top off a feature looking at the disbanding teams now that they are confirmed. Hopefully i can get it out this week! So keep an eye out.
Will also do a bit more of a focused piece on the team this week as Sound Wave is reduced in size with the new format.

With Chicchi, Bucciero and Bakari certain leavers as well as our promotion to PCT Boeing-Bulgaria has a great chance to expand itself as a team. Here we'll take a quick look at our initial ideas for the transfer period and start some of that chat and rumor that makes this period so special!
OUT: Chicchi + Bucciero, [GAB] Bakari
ON EDGE: JTL (don't want to leave G as a lone brit)
OPEN TO OFFERS: Colorado + Parra Bustamante
NOPE: Ahmed, Hristov, Mihaylov, Stoenchev, Aleksiev, Georgiev, Balinski, Grashev + Guyrov, Thomas, Sparling, Britton + Routely
Pretty much the plans for the current riders. We are anticipating much lower wages as well, with all but Thomas down to £50,000 and G down towards the £100/125,000 region. This makes around £850/875,000 of our cap space, and based off last years numbers leaves around 1.65/1.625mil for us to chase down new riders (mwahhahah)
So who is on our list?
PRIMARY: Panayotov, Veilleux, Cavendish, Dombrowski + Craddock
SECONDARY: Gaudin, Ostergaard, Rathe, Young + Squire, Froome/Dowsett
TERTIARY: Anyone we see as a good deal
Petar Panayotov as the best Bulgarian and to provide the climbing power. Obvious choice and is our biggest focus. Veilleux is a hugely popular rider and our sponsors would love to have him on the team. Cavendish is marked as our new sprinter, we know he will be popular but everyone must dream. Dombrowski is the first of our US targets and is one of the biggest climbing talents around, just perfect for the team. Craddock also fits into that talent category.
Gaudin and Ostergaard are marked as cobble helpers as we stack up behind Thomas. Giving him that bit more high class support should push him from 4th/5th place to the podium. Rathe is from Oregon and marked as good for local sponsors. Squire and Young are talented Americans and we need some of them. Froome or Dowsett to take charge as a hilly leader. Really ambitious yes but everyone must dream.
Then just whatever we need to fill in/can get our hands on as a good deal. Last year we bagged Thomas in a great deal and we hope to find a similarly good opportunity for 2014.
In addition to this we are still scouting the American and Canadian markets to help please our sponsors. There are some U23 Canadians of interest but only as last minute fill ins. From the US we are trying to stick to WA, OR or IL for riders but perhaps we will go further afield if we spy a bargain.
Finally on the NOPE riders, everyone has their price! Obviously the Bulgarians and Canadians will take a truly monumental offer to shift but Thomas is the most unknown factor. We are currently built for cobbles but if we bag a different big name leader then it could be all move!

I wouldn't bet on Thomas going down, but if he does, consider me interested of you redesign your roster a bit more
Also Grashev is a rider that probably won't accept 50k.
Expect a fight for the British puncheur duo, definitely not only from me.
I could see you going for Dombo with that free cap space, that will be fun to watch.

@fjhokie - Cavs?
@cio - I doubt either Thomas or Grashev would go upwards (0 wins and 2 podiums between them) so either way it's fine. I always try and take a positive attitude with me!
@fintas - Well we have very different teams, but i will be hunting so perhaps we will cross at some point (old Pearl riders?)

Cav is on my list, yep... Unsurprisingly as I already mentioned I'd be going for a sprinting focus...
But I'm sure he is on like 10 teams' lists, if not more.

Take Napolitano instead. He comes with a free leadout train including Averin
Will fight you for Dombrowski but can't afford him probably. |

Yeah I don't see you getting Dombrowski for much lower than 700,000 so good luck with that
