Shock, as Unknown Director replaces Denk at NetApp
Only weeks away from the start of the cycling season and we have a huge shock to announce! Former Manager of Team NetApp has been relieved of his duties with NetApp after he made a derogatory comment about the team on Twitter concerning the sponsors financial faith. Denk truly had a strong connection with the team, so it is sad to see him go. In all fairness he only wanted the best of his team, and even though his comment was out of turn and inappropriate it does show his ambition. Due to this, the team have brought in an unknown Canadian manager on short notice, hoping that he can get the job done for the team this season!
Mr. Neal is a former MTB Junior Champion of Manitoba and has always had a strong knowledge of cycling. He had his own article in the Canadian Cycling Magazine which makes the rounds every month in North America. Neal is quite young for a cycling manager but major injuries to both of his legs in a car crashed ruined his chances of a career in competitive cycling, atleast on the bike.
However even with his cycling knowledge, we do not know how he will do as a manager, but we can only wish him the best.
In terms of changes to the team, there has been no announcement about how this will affect the rest of the team, but we can only predict that the team will stay unchanged. The policy of the team may change slightly, but Neal has stated that Denk's goal of becoming the best German team in the world and the focus on German riders during the transfer season will still be his main plan, according to the letter on NetApp's site.
Neal certainly seems like a bright Manager for the sport, and so we will follow this story closely as it continues to develop in the coming weeks, and then analyse his teams results once the season gets underway. Once again we wish him the best of luck, and hope his team has a safe and successful season.
We may hear more from Neal in the coming days. NetApp have made a placeholder press conference in 4 days time in California where he may officially meet the media for the first time since the news first broke via the teams official site.

@ Sutty - Thanks! I just thought it would be easier to write with myself/alias (you will never know if thats really me or not ) as the manager. Plus now I have an excuse to bring in Canadian riders....

Wow, really looks like a good story, I like the articles and presentation. Good luck to Mr. Neal however if this alias anything like you I hope the leg part isn't real
