In Romandie related news, Kreuziger had to take antibiotics prior to the race, because of having cold from Trentino. He says he is okay now, and is looking forward to decisive stages on Saturday and Sunday.

This whole race of "sprint of the climbers" is really weird, but funny.
There's no point slapping a schleck - Sean Kelly on "Who needs a slap"

Not that dissimilar to Catalonia. Good to know that everyone knows the GC better than Eurosport commentators - "Sanchez in yellow"...if there was an 11 second bonus for winning
Also another thing not dissimilar to Catlonia is the dodgy time gaps!

Yes another great Eurosport call in the commentary as he drifted back nonchalantly (at least seemed to be that way to me - is it just me?) and settled back to watch the sprint from a safe distance.

Nice sprint win for Sanchez. And first attack of the season for Kreuziger, it was about time
It was like testing of the legs, i hope he will be ready for Giro, cant wait for it.

''Massively strong headwind in Romandie - Sky chasing escape at 20kms per hour! Can barely stand up, let alone ride a bike...''
Tejay Van Garderen abandons after a crash on the descent.
Guys with a 3 minute advantage:
44 Johann Tschopp (BMC) +0:25
51 Guillaume Levarlet (SAU) +0:28
59 Petr Ignatenko (KAT) +0:37
68 Eduard Vorganov (KAT) +1:42
72 Jorge Azanza (EUS) +2:54
91 Jean-Christophe Peraud (ALM) +7:46

Boring.... This race makes Eneco look like Giro...
The TT should be bit more exciting hopefully with few nice climbs.

Not too sure why Wiggins decided it was a good idea to be at the back of the group. Makes no sense.
Oh, and I agree about the boring race thing. It's not selective in the slightest.
Well... ok. Thats a lie. It does drop the pure sprinters.

Just watched a recording of the Queen Stage in Italian and mainly followed the rest by reading reports. Catalonia was quite eventful - this race and stage was just dull.....
Then again, it's all Cancellara's fault - course was clearly designed for him to win.

That's a bit harsh on the organisers. Even though the course is as exciting as peeling an orange, I don't believe these french-speaking dudes would select it based on Spartacus' characteristics. Also this is has always been raced in April which automatically makes it uninteresting for Cancellara.

You're probably right, Gustavovskiy.
I prefer to think that Cancellara could have ridden this race as part of a holiday and rest period after sweeping the classics.
