Too unpredicatble. Plus our train is normally shattered from chasing. |

I'll second that.
Good stuff again from Alarcon, keeping yellow with a solid margin. |

I think VDB just showed that the overall result is clearly not always about being the strongest - unfortunately.
- Awesome to see him take his first win for the team, I hope he will continue his good form in Naranca/Burgos!

Missing out on top 10 because of a TT? Okay.

He has been very active in this race - probably his best so far.
Vespa still snoozing our way through this race. |

The quality of the field here has been simply immense, Alarcon really is such a star the Slovenian meltdown is quickly forgotten.
The top five in this race are some of the biggest money men (bar Vantomme ) of the CTour. I'll wager that we had a weaker field in the HC rated Langkawi and probably will in Portugal too. The big names have kinda shared the wins and podiums around Rujano, Valverde, Alarcon and VDB have taken a stage each. Pozzovivo I suppose had the glory in Slovenia.
It's a step in class too far for the D2 boys, I think Colorado will be a better fit for those riders. Though who knows perhaps the final stage offers a chance somehow.

Great to see you´re waiting with final stage, roturn. Guillen needs as much time as possible to recover from his injuries and be ready!

Sorry for the delay.
@ Beagle: Actually just for you of course.
Will try to post the stage today.
Just had less time on the weekend and had to enjoy the great weather the last 2 days instead of reporting this stage as it`s supposed to become colder in the next days again.
Negative side: Now I have a sun burn on my back.

Here finally the last stage.
Congratulations to Aker and Saab.
Sorry that Guillen still wasn`t healed.
Disappointing stage for me as Cucinotta should have fought for the 2nd at least today as he should be the better sprinter in especially as he got Gajek as supporter. 43th/44th quite under his possibilities.
Therefore some nice riding for my team. Novak winning a stage, Ruijgh once again over performing after Mediterraneen and Corsica as 8th, 3rd KoM and 2x 2nd stage result.
So in general could have been better but with such a weak team it`s a good result. |

Nice finish for the team with Parra Bustamante getting all the TV time up front and then Teruel capping it off with a 2nd

Can't complain about another Top 10 from Rizza.
And Caruso stayed on his bike as well. Decent day, decent race.

CSC and Rothaus ought to be embarrassed, beaten by our invisible lot.
Great reports though. |

Great reports though.
Still I got 8th overall and was in 2-3 successful breaks.
Actually this even shows the weakness of my squad even more. |

Great reports all the way, roturn.
And brilliant racing from Alarcon and our team. Hope we can build on this, and perform strong in our next races. And I must admit, it feels great to once again get the better of Valverde, who has a higher wage than Alarcon

The race has finished and I'm still not sure whether Vespa were riding it. I guess we're in the results so we must have been there. Very forgettable. |
