That happens in Spain too, so I'd say it has nothing to do with 'communist times'. Madrid and Barça can spend 4 times more than their closer rivals (Valencia or Sevilla), despite their debts sky-rocketing to ~900,000,000 euros. I dream with their disappearance, but it'll never, ever happen. Not in Spain.

What I meant with the reference to the communist times was that Steaua, one of the teams that was favored by the communist regime, can have two teams in the first division and there's nothing illegal in it.

Probabily Unirea will not play and Steaua will win 3-0.Why Steaua's players lose their energy?Grin

They don't have to lose their energy. They could do nothing and still win the game. One of the referees could score a goal or something.

Oh, but has Unirea been taken over by Steaua, or is still an independent team? As independent as possible given the circumstances, I mean.

And, still, Spain it could be worse. I bet Steaua never has played the cup final aganst their reserve team, have they? Well, Real Madrid have.

alexkr00
Unirea is still independent, yes.

And I think you beat me with the Real Madrid thing there Pfft

From an ESPN report on Zidane going to the French team's camp to boost morale after South Africa.

Zidane, who won the 1998 European Championship and 2000 World Cup with France, spent Wednesday with the players at its camp in Clairefontaine.

You do realize I am referring to the dates for the French victories in the World Cup and Euro Championship.

After a goal for Red Bull Henry wanted to celebrate by kicking the ball into the goal again like he did several times before. This time it worked a little bit different...

I do! Can't wait for Derby D'Italia but I believe Inter will the victory since Juve are way too weak in their defence + they haven't Buffon in goal.

It`s not the only surprise there.
Hanover 3th and Freiburg 4th. Everybody thought they will have big problems to avoid the descent into 2nd division.

Other teams like Bayern, Bremen, Schalke and Stuttgart are playing totally under their possibilities.

kumazan
I think Schalke is doing a good job, having into account they have to suffer Raúl every weekend.

Gouffran has contracted the most embarrassing illness a footballer can contract.

He's allergic to grass
I'm not joking.

Same with Hanover`s Mike Hanke.
But he is just allergic to some kind of gras. So they don`t use it in Hanover but well, nobody can forbid the opponent to use it Wink

But doesn`t really matter as he is such a bad player. There is no gras on the bench, good for him.

At the beginning of the season there were problems between the board and the coach. The coach got sacked despite last season he won the league, the cup and the supercup. Now there is a new coach wich in my opinion is far from what Cluj need. It's a shame because i think they have the best rooster in the whole league.
