One of the longest classics of the CT calendar to start off the racing for almost the entire division (am I the only one absent? - I can't figure it out just by jerseys quite yet). Will be interesting to see if stamina becomes even more of a factor and whether maybe an even smaller group makes the finish.
My unreliable podium prediction is 1) Turgis 2) Vincent 3) Stocek

We can't wait to get underway!
There are simply not enough green jerseys in the peloton....disgrace!
We hope to snag a top ten, but it will be difficult. Most of all we just look forward to the season starting. Best of luck to everyone.

Hoping for a strong start to the season here from Vincent! Considered sending Vogt as well but a bit afraid of a leadership fight and thus Vincent is the only leader
Doubt sprint will pay a big role, maybe some MM will have a say in the result on this one? Moscon is the big favorite in my eyes anyway
I also noticed I have 2021 winner Holmes riding here!

Here we go! Excited to see how this one goes, especially how Moscon and Turgis fare on such a course. Natural favourites, but last year showed there can be surprises here. |

Not sure what to expect out of my first race of the season, on paper a top 15 should be achievable but then you look at my riders stamina and wonder if they'll have the energy at the end.

Not to come in all deflated but.... this isn't a Moscon race he's here out of needing to use Rds becuase of the how the race will pan out i've no doubt he uses all his energy attacking before the end to be in the shakeup but should gurantee a top 10 which points wise is all we needed.
Masnada the clear favourite here for me with those long early climbs and whoever can save the most energy in the favourites group i'd imagine will be around him in the final sprint.
Really feel for Lagane here who could struggle immensely on the new game engine/ shoutout to Vincent who's high stamina really will play on this course |

Good luck to the CT contingent kicking off their season here - last season’s edition saw mountain stat as a really key element (both Raileanu and Lyu), so wondering if MM or ST/RS will prove vital in the 2025 edition.

Time to see how important those back-up stats are gonna be. Do i leave this race with any hopes for the season? Or do i start jersey designing before January concludes?
I'm not nervous. You're nervous. Hahah... ha.... ha

Would sure love that, but we'll see. Lafay has had good results here too, but the startlist sure is strong.
Thanks for the preview, good season everybody.

The first of many no-hoper races for us. Best bet is definitely a breakaway
Thanks for the preview. Career debut for our loan in Jamie Meehan

Thanks for the preview Laurens.
As a bit of fun I did an alternative analysis where I valued
| Mountain | 20% | | Medium Mountain | 40% | | Hill | 20% | | Stamina | 20% |
This is what I ended up with. It will be interesting to see if these predictions match the results with the new engine. I bumped any rider not a team leader down 1 group. I have not factored in support for a team leader. I have 46 riders going for the Top 30 so hedging my bets a bit.
Good luck everyone.

6th is not bad, had hoped for a bit better but at the same time not any weak riders in front of Vincent really
Holmes just pipping in a points at 25th is perfect

Lagane survived!! 5th is not bad at all when looking at those around him. Not having the gas left up a climb like that is no shame without many back-ups or MM. Perhaps.... just maybe... he can have a good season?
Abner Gonzalez quietly in 13th providing a few depth points. That'd good as he's going to matter in terms of promotion chasing.
And hey, i see you Nathan also in the Top25 as a former Pirate. With Croes just missing the Top30.
Positive project signs on day one! The jersey designing is on hold for now!
