Thanks for the preview!
We're here to hunt stages and nothing more!

Thanks for the extensive preview! Looking at the startlist, it would've been cool to bring Meintjes here. But you never know ahead of time, I guess. Now it's up to Ndayisenga and Uwizeyimana to score at least a few GC points. I'm hoping Teuns can do something on the two hilly stages, and maybe we'll find the opportunities from breakaways. Good luck everyone!

Fun to have Iturria here, and to see it in the fav list, be it in the last positions.
I think we lack the mountain support to achieve anything meaningfull really. KoM and stage hunting could be better bet, but you never know.
Thanks for the preview, good luck all.

Looking at the (excellent) preview, we can only be happy with a win. But Johannessen has already beaten Oomen this year and Ranaweera is probably still pissed about that Avenir win. We also don't seem to have much support here, so who knows.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Maybe Cattaneo and Kalaba can restore my faith in them here

We're only here for the GC and once we saw the startlist a top 10 is the bare minimum, a top5 is the goal and a podium is well in reach for Ranaweera. He has all the mountain support we have with him, so there's clearly no excuse here.
Thanks for the preview, Laurens!

Sent the depth team and no leader here. On prior occasions the boys have interpreted that as a sign that they should all just give up. So not optimistic. Maybe Haller can do something in the sprints, be nice to get some highlights since this is a home race in which we have a pretty good history.

Looking at the start list, this might've been an opportunity for Gibbons to pick up some points in the sprints, not sure why he's on the couch for this one. Didn't take any real leaders here so hoping for breakaways it is. Good luck to all.

Jiang with a great prologue, Kalaba with a good position into tomorrow and Cattaneo best of the GC favorites. Couldn't have started better.
(But it might also mean it's all downhill from here )

Congrats to quadsas for the not so surprising prologue win. Also good to see Ekoi alumni Jiang up there.
And thanks to roturn for reporting here!

Forgot I sent a squad to America. Not much to hope for here as it's kind of an reserve team, but we hope for some breakaway action like Kaczmarek did last time!
Thank you Laurens and Roturn! |

Two uneventfull stages so far, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for Oomen.

+1 (just substitute Oomen for Ranaweera)

Solid effort by Willems there, looks like just a few centimeters separated him from a couple of points, but that's alright. Would've liked to be in the breakaway when we have little chance in the sprint, but again, not a big deal. I'm hoping Teuns can do something tomorrow, the finale should suit him quite well.
Congrats lief and thanks for the report roturn!

Was conflicted about sending Rodrigues here. On paper it should be a raace which suits him, given the overall favourite, Oomen, is only ever so slightly better than him. That said it's difficult to see him being competitive beyond a fight for a top5.
The rpeview was awesome thanks for that, Laurens. Great reports as well so far roturn, thanks! Congrats to Tryg and Zalgiris.

Need a little more from Haller, badly positioned from the beginning to the end.
