Welcome (back) to the MG! Looks like the Canadian market is getting rather crowded this season.

Welcome! Excited to welcome you into CT, although it seems like you probably already have more experience than me. As indicated above, the Canadian and North American markets generally are definitely getting some love but am sure that you'll find your space there.
Excited to see what routes you take this season!

Yay!!!! So cool to see you back, never had much to do with each other as you were always one of the bright lights far in the distance for me starting out in MG with you established in the Pro Tour. Definitely interested in what you put together for your first squad of the Cervelo era

Thanks , I'm quite happy to see how many of my old canadians have had long careers Charles Matte is a personal success story as hes a rider that wouldn't have had a man game career without RBC so hopefully have a few more of them

JANDAL keep seeing old names from 5+ years ago pretty cool to see the guys that have managed to stick around. Yeah going to be completely new then then the old RBC team which we already had a solid core for years but new challenge should be fun |

Very happy to see you back with the same old focus of the past, I feel like we're going to be butting heads a bit in the transfer window! Best of luck!

Don't think we crossed over, but thanks for Charles, I have been more US focused but have had him for a couple of seasons as my token Canadian. He almost got to celebrate being part of a ToA winning team in Montreal but it wasn't to be.

Following the reemergence of JT in the Professional cycling ranks after the successful period in the late 2010s under a new professional lisence backed by Bike Brand Cervelo. We can now present the first batch of riders signed on. (There might be a few familiar names for those RBC followers back in the day)
We welcome the following riders to Cervelo Test Team
Hugo Houle: We start with the same place we started in 2014 for our first RBC season. We signed Hugo Houle again. Hugo is at the backend of his career now but to have him ride for us one more team was really something we couldn't miss out on. For those who love a bit of MG history he was a previous winner on the Champs-Élysées after breaking away solo during his 2nd year as a pro.
Wage : 90k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 76 | 64 | 73 | 67 | 73 | 68 | 74 | 63 | 77 | 75 | 68 | 67 | 67 |
------
David Boily: What's better then signing the first rider you signed the first time around then also signing your 2nd rider straight after. David also started with our squad way back in the day via a loan at what was Festina (now ELCO). David has lost a bit of his climbing ability he had at his prime but is a more then useful domestique for us this season.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 65 | 74 | 76 | 68 | 69 | 69 | 64 | 54 | 66 | 71 | 67 | 77 | 59 |
------
Lewis Stroll: He's only gone and done it, he's signed a rider that wasn't on the team before. Lewis is a very solid domestique capable on lots of terrain and able to TT. Should fill out the calender well and get into breaks across the season.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 66 | 72 | 69 | 72 | 71 | 72 | 73 | 55 | 62 | 68 | 70 | 75 | 72 |
------
Riley Pickrell: Another Canadian to add to the roster, Pickrell loves the cobbled roads and will be a great asset as a team mate in the season to come as his older countryman decline.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 71 | 65 | 68 | 65 | 67 | 73 | 68 | 70 | 63 | 67 | 66 | 68 | 64 | 74 | 65 | 71 | 65 | 70 | 75 | 70 | 74 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 69 | 64 |
------
Ion Izaguirre: Ion is entrying the later stages of his career but has been bought as a Domestique mostly on the hilly and mountain terrain his phyiscal capablities arent what they were but he is more then useful at this level and arrive at the bottom of the wage structure.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 67 | 70 | 77 | 73 | 67 | 66 | 60 | 50 | 56 | 58 | 65 | 66 | 73 | |
------
Zico Weaytens: Zico arrives as our Super Domestique and reserve leader in some races for this season. Not at the peak of his powers anymore he still manges to pack a punch though lacking in his backup stats to truely be a contender he should still score the odd points here and there off the minimum wage
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 69 | 70 | 79 | 64 | 70 | 68 | 66 | 66 | 65 | 71 | 75 | 74 | 64 |
------
Jordan Cheyne: Jordan adds to our Canadian contingent a strong TT presence he provides a good body for the season in the many races that have a TTT.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 71 | 56 | 64 | 74 | 70 | 72 | 67 | 53 | 63 | 64 | 67 | 62 | 73 |
------
Hayden Mccormick: Another of the Minimum wage crew Hayden adds a bit more Hilly and Sprint depth with a good profile to be a breakaway rider if the CPU would allow. Most importantly though he adds a another body to our strong Hill core for the season.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 70 | 66 | 76 | 65 | 74 | 71 | 70 | 53 | 73 | 73 | 67 | 59 | 65 |
------
Aaron Grosser: Aaron like Hayden before is versatile on both Hills and in sprints should follow a similar schedule to Hugo Houle but another interchangable part to our Hill race core if needed and again could be a strong breakaway rider if allowed.
Wage: 50k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 70 | 64 | 74 | 63 | 74 | 72 | 73 | 58 | 75 | 75 | 61 | 67 | 70 |
------
Gianni Moscon: And finally our Big leader for the 2024 Season. Gianni will lead in our Hilly races with the strong support team we have built for him we feel he can aim to push into the top 10 for the individual rankings this season and try and get us to the promotion spots we will be aiming for.
Wage: 240k
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 71 | 73 | 80 | 66 | 76 | 77 | 75 | 53 | 59 | 73 | 71 | 69 | 70 |

That's quite an impressive list of signings with plenty of locals. Moscon should be a pretty good leader too.

Who did you bribe to get (nearly) all those riders on minimum wage? Great hills squad right now, though this doesn't mean much scoring wise I've failed heavily with one in my first season (and somehow promoted with an overhauled version the year after). On a side note Pickrell was on my list for a second year in a row, but good to see him back home!

Great (regional) FA signings including some talent, and also Moscon who should do really well in CT!

@All:
Cheers guys hit some good spots on a lot of the guys tried to look for guys that would be undervalued or maybe missed for various reasons should have a positive effect on the top end of the squad as well getting these guys in so cheap |

Yes Houle!!! Was really hoping when I couldn't come to terms with him that he'd find his way to you in FA and I think he can still do a job in CT. Very cool that he's essentially a two-team man still, he became his legend for us over the last five seasons and now he can return home to build up the RBC legacy again Will be following him closely

Really cool signings. There might be some redundancy in terms of some similar riders, but there could still be planning flexibility to get the best out of most of them.
