It's time to open the new thread for the coming season. Even though it has not been officially reported, we already know we were able to secure safety and stay in the PCT for our third season in ManGame! A total rebuild is needed, especially with the disappointing season we had. It remains to be seen who will come and go, but we can announce one thing. Our stat gains!
And these are the stat's our talents (and Quispe) will have in the upcoming season!
Our work has definitely been worth it the past two seasons. some of these guys will develop into real contenders in the near future and we are really excited to have a potential race winner grown and nurtured in San Marino!

As you can guess. Total rebuild time. Renewals wasn't super great but I can't complain really. Besides the talent pretty much everyone is negotiable. Benetton is here to take over bruh. Pretty much any leader/master dom besides Overachiever Afewerki is for sale. But in the end cash is king. Or in this case sexy riders with a nice bonus maybe. Quispe is the goat in his final maxed season so emotionally I wan't to keep him but I also want to win things so yeah. Definitely looking for some big scorers to ease the pain of flopping last year. Thanks for reading muchacho's.

The disappointments are on the chopping block. The overachievers are secured. Interesting that you are looking for cash given I can't see where you would spend it internally. I don't think any of your departures are of particular interest to me this year, but if you don't refresh the leadership via direct swaps then maybe we'll be able to talk about seeing one of my riders head your way. Even if that doesn't eventuate, best of luck for the new season!

Not necessarily cash only. Just that the probability i will contact interesting swaps first is quite big. I’m open to anything really. Thank you best of luck to you too King!

Seeing a lot more "No" and "Never" amongst riders I could be interested in that "Yes" or "Definitely"... Sad for me? maybe better seeing how the Betancourt served me last season.
Seems like you always have an interesting plan come transfers though so excited to see what you figure out.

Is that it for the Sanmarinese focus? Some wage rises for sure but seems you've trimmed the fat a bit and are about to do a lot more than trim fat soon - getting rid of Kelderman, is that going on Ozempic or getting liposuction?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I'm not sure I'm a big fan of another massive rebuild. Given you only got two decent sprinters on your 'no' list it'll probably be hard to find some new leaders, especially when you have to sell Kelderman and Reis for them. Maybe keeping the latter could be an option with a non ToA calendar for him?
But it will certainly be another busy and interesting transfer period for one of the most colourful teams in the peloton in this regard (though in others too ).

Good luck with the rebuild. I can't say we'll be talking that much given your current squad.

Another rebuild sounds like a task but probably also necessary after how the previous season went. Will be following to see how it goes.

Transfers are my favorite part of the season ngl, wouldn’t be an Adler transfer window if i didn’t do an entire rebuild

It's been an interesting transfer window for us for sure, and as the last hours roll on we will take a look on our incoming and outgoing transfers.
The promised 'Great Rebuild' wasn't great, and not so much a rebuild either. Five incoming riders (so far) and five riders who have been sold! Let's first take a look at our incoming talents, there's some tasty ones for sure.
Arguably the biggest talent of this years intake, our big goal this year was to sign a big talent and were prepared to go deep. Well, we did quite surprisingly and didn't have to pay near what I predicted he would cost! Take the stage, Juan Ayuso.
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | XP | | Juan Ayuso | 67 | 71 | 68 | 69 | 72 | 69 | 69 | 62 | 62 | 69 | 66 | 68 | 67 | 1.0 | | Juan Ayuso | 70 | 81 | 75 | 77 | 79 | 76 | 78 | 62 | 62 | 72 | 69 | 69 | 75 | 4.100 |
There's only one realistic path I would take with dear Juan, lets be honest. Even though I could've developed him inhouse this season, his €650.000 wage was too big for us. So our friends over at Specialized were so nice to take him in for a year. Even if it did cost me €1,185,000.
Only have time for one more reveal today. Namewise my favorite, but he's also quite a good and interesting talent to try and develop. Areruya has shown us training can really create a freak of a man. And even though this talent will not be as good as fast, I still love him, his wage being only 150K for me is a price I'm more than happy to pay. Ladies and gents, Oscar Onley!
There's a few different paths and combinations possible for Onley, but it will probably take a while to finetune what we exactly want. It's less likely I would choose to develop him as a domestique, even if it is what he will be in his first maxed years. A Hybrid or fun puncher might be the way I want to push things if finances allow it ofcourse.
Next time we will talk about the 'lesser' talents and also discuss the leaders we have brought in to strengthen our chances at survival.

Great puns, great riders. Would be massive if you can manage to survive while getting two big talents like this as well. Future looks very bright.
