2009, Tour de Romandie, the day before the time trial

I am playing with my Rabobank savegame. I am playing Tour de Romandie. When I am going to click next day after the second last stage, it shuts down. It is when I am going to click continue to the day where the time trial is.
Can someone please help me? |

This happens in many a game, but with different stages.
Do you have all the patches installed??
Maybe try making a copy of it but saving it as another name like "gamer", then go onto that copy and try to go forward a day. If it doesnt work then you may have to face up to the possibility that your career is over 
What database are you using?

Delete (or overwrite if it's the same name) the old savegame and place the fixed one in the same place

Now, it happened again, at the dayturn from the prologue in the Giro to the second stage; it just shuts down again, can anyone help?

I hate doing things I said I wouldn't
But then again I hate leaving things broken. This definately is the last attempt, if it doesn't work then you wil just have to face that the career is over.
