Since no one made a thread yet, it's about time. Saturday we have Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, on sunday it's Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. The two major changes from last year are related to the new calendar. Omloop in now a WT race, meaning all the big names will be there. Kuurne stays a .HC race, but since Abu Dhabi is now WT, the top 3 sprinters and a few others will be missing.
Someone else can go over the startlists and profiles, but no real surprsises there. I'll finish with this heroic man trying to save the Eikenberg.

I'll be in Warsaw the coming days so sadly will miss Omloop's debut as a WT race. It's long deserved that Omloop turns WT. For years it's been one of the finest races of the calendar. Stannard may go for his third win but I think Quick Step will take at least one too. Let's go boonen & gaviria! Also, how is GVA's form so far.. his big classics are still coming but I wouldn't mind a win for him either.

You might want to start including Garmin in those polls since Vanmarcke is there now.

I was considering it, but he's only riding saturday and no idea who can get close to a win on sunday. Same for AG2R with Naesen and Vandenbergh.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Paving a cobbled incline?!? Ain't that like high treason in Belgium? |

I really like Quick Step for this race, what a squad. Sadly no Gaviria for these races, apparently preferring Colombian NCs he can't win anyways..
Very unpredictable and lots of good teams for these races atm. Will be a goodie! |

Boonen was also down. Had some scratches...huge crash with half of the peloton down...will take some time until a real overview of who is where can be given I guess. |

Kristoff looking bad in any case. Guess that's end of his chances for this race and with a bit of bad luck a bit more.

Trek pushing hard in the first group. Lots of potential winners on such terrain for them. Also Sagan of course in group 1.
Stuyven, Van Avermaet, Vanmarcke and another Trek looking really good in front there on Taienberg.

Both Theuns and Stuyven looked so strong yet they missed that GVA/Sagz group. |

Kirchen, you gotta admit that this is more fun to watch than that hill in AliDubai. |
