Women TTT going on now. Amazing crowds already....
Looks like Boels-Dolmans (read Team-Van Dijk) is going to win here ahead of Canyon-SRAM

Eve Stevens beginning her last period of racing with Gold. Great team effort though, especially from the ever underrated Canuel and Majerus.
Canyon in 2nd, good for them as i was expecting worse. Pleased to see Barnes contributing to a big medal effort.
Cervelo a big surprise for 3rd! That's a true team effort there as none of those riders are stand-out tt'ers.
Rabobank, just being classic Rabobank. It's been more than a decade of the same joke, kudos

I have spotted like 10 spectators, good job UCI, i guess camel races would have ten times bigger interest.

Karlijn Swinkels is Womens Junior ITT Champion. Big improvement on her 6th at Euros. She's been consistent this year, but this is very much the stand out result. A good powerful rider who, for now, could go down a nice Cancellara-esque route of being just strong on any flat ground.
So close for Morzenti, Euro Junior ITT Winner. Backing up her showing earlier in the year. Astana have got a good little rider signed up here.
Great continuation from Labous. Liv got a good rider here, needs some help but is now very proven in good sized races.
Two Americans just off the podium, not quite the domination we saw in Richmond. Viglia will be dissapointed with 8th. The Aussies will be dissapointed with 9th.

To be fair, there were only 11 competitive teams at the start. All they did was beat AG2R and obscure continental teams.

AG2R is WT (with a decent squad) and CCC is still PCT (with also a good team), so it's kinda impressive for a CT team. Agreed that the rest of the field except maybe SkyDive Dubai is rather weak though.

Definitely not the German I expected or would've bet on to win this (I actually just barely watched his ride because I thought he would at most be Top 15), but I take it
Kämna at least was by far the fastest of the last group, the medals go to bibs #73, #46 and #50 so let the speculations start if there were different conditions.

On conditions I kinda expect the early starters would have a decent advantage in having lower temperatures. It is well know that around 2 or 3 PM the heat will have the most effect, and if you can start before noon, like the first wave today, you would probably ride in temperatures maybe even 3 or 4 degrees lower which could make a significant difference.
