Thanks for making me google it.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

So Sagan did those two MTB races - he crashed out in Austria, hurting his shoulder, but was ok enough to take part in Czech MTB cup in Teplice and finished 4th there. He was leading from the start, but got a puncture that hurt his chances for a podium as he had to chase from sixth spot.
He was obviously the star for the visitors and media, usually there are like 500-1000 spectators in those races and this had around 5000. (not me unfortunetely).
When aked about Rio and MTB, he is not ruling anything out yet and will make a decision after evaluating his chances. He says that road race does not fit his skills so much, so who knows, maybe he will just start in MTB there and not on the road, as he said it would be better to only focus on one thing there...

Well, I certainly hope so! It'll be great fun to see current road WC $agan beaten by former CX and U23 road world champion Mathieu Van der Poel. Fancy a trip to Rio, Avin?

Nah, too far and too much ZIKA there for my liking.
But yeah, i t would be nice to see seeing Mathieu getting his ass kicked by former U23 MTB champion Sagan, both are incredible multi-talented bike racers, probably the best in few decades

During the U23 Carpathian Couriers Race in Poland Gijs Verdick - who rides for Team Jo Piels - got a double heart attack. The first when he slept and the next in the hospital. I hope not it ends bad...
I don't know that it has been posted. If so, sorry |

All these recent heart attacks in cycling... every person should go to doctor on yearly basis and check themselves out, ECG, Echo, Stress test. So much death would be avoided if people were just tiny little bit proactive, many heart related deaths have zero visible symptoms, but can be picked up by these various methods.

So it's OK for people to wildly claim anyone is a doper base don a few good results and that is fine.
But I make a comment based on the scientific fact of doping and the increase in heart problems and I get sworn at. |

I think its safe to say that the attitude of dismissing any doping accusations grooms at a very young stage of any bike rider |

Its really inappropriate in these circumstances. That's all. |

Why is it? Alakagom made a comment based on the increase in cyclist's suffering heart problems. I made a comment based on the link between heart problems and doping. What's inappropriate about it? It's perfectly relevant to the subject being discussed. |
