Hopefully not as boring as Fleche!

Discuss!

I would agree with you on that although personally i would like to see Thomas Smile

Kwiatek looked strong today and will surely fight for the win here. Perhaps a stealth attack from Nibali or Quintana Pfft

Froome will once again show his strongness.
But go Pistolero and Nibbles

Scorchio
Expect the likes of Valv and Dan Martin to bring spring form here, perhaps also Rodriguez. Think the main 4 GC guys not so much to the fore - to short sharp a finishing hill effort. Would like to see G do well, but think will be on team duty. Doubt Canc will hold jersey.

Todays stage was awesome, expect more control on road to Huy.

This is a hard one to pick, lots of riders have a chance here. I think the outright favorite is Valverde, but it depends on what his aim is for this race. Is he satisfied with going for early stages and then playing lieutenant for Quintana, or does he want to save up and try to assert dominance over Quintana in the mountains and reclaim leadership of Movistar? This in-fight in Movistar has persisted since the 2013 Tour, and I see no reason, after the Vuelta last year, why Valverde wouldn't continue to try. If the latter is the case, I see a lot of capable riders, but only a few going for the win.

Michal Kwiatkowski and Zdenek Stybar are both big contenders, and if they play their cards right maybe they can get the 1-2? With the former winning Amstel Gold and the latter Strade Bianche and second in Paris-Roubaix, there's no denying their credentials; it may all come down to what their plan is and how they're feeling.

Fabian Cancellara needs to do well on this stage if he wants to stay in yellow. He has had a good punch in the past, but hasn't been quick to show it recently. However, people have been saying he's been finished for a while now, but 3rd place in both stages so far with the yellow jersey says otherwise. Maybe not a win, but top 3 for the time bonus will be good to help stay away from Tom Dumoulin on the GC.

John Degenkolb showed true proof that he is not a sprinter by winning the steep uphill stage in the Dubai Tour. Since then, Milan-Sanremo and Paris-Roubaix have shown that Degenkolb is not only a puncher, but pretty much every kind of rider besides climber. He even performed well in the Stage 1 time trial yesterday. I have no doubt that he will fight for the win tomorrow.

My outside favourites: Joaquim Rodriguez, Peter Sagan, Andriy Grivko, Jan Bakelants, Michael Matthews, Edvald Boasson Hagen, Thomas Voeckler, Greg Van Avermaet, Rui Costa, Sylvain Chavanel

Dumoulin was 21th in Fleche on less than 30 seconds from the winner in 2014.
Just saying Wink

Yellow jersey hope is still alive.

Expect a boring stage, just as the Fleche Wallonne for the last zillion years. Action to start at 500m before the finish!
(And Dumoulin for yellow of course!)

I think this will be a little bit more nervous than la Fleche.

Some GC guys, some guys who want to wear yellow at the end of the day, some stage-hunters. I think too many guys will want to be at the front. I expect some crashes in the last 30kms, maybe some splits in the peloton. The penultimate climb is close to the finish, I see a potential to go full gas and create a split there. You never know. There are 3 serious yellow jersey contenders, 5 or 6 contenders for stage win and around 8-10 GC guys that will be taken seriously by big guys at this point. That's almost 20 riders who someone will want to get rid off. There's a big chance some of them will be in trouble and others will want to benefit from it.

Agreed, great analysis there.

I think fabian will retain his Jersey, he might not be in the top 3 or even top 10 but he have good legs to keep him in the main bunch at the end (even tough the first few rider might create a small gap it wont threaten the yellow Jersey)

No.

Somehow he managed to do in the TdF 2010 and Giro 2012. In TdF 2010 he was lucky to get into the breakaway on a cobbled stage, though. I guess otherwise he would have lost quite a lot of time and possibly didn't even bother with GC, didn't find out he could be very good in mountains in 3rd week and didn't go for a GC during the 2012 Giro! Shock
