On the Boards is a new story set up by both EwanWilson & Scattershot Will. this story is a track-orientated story about a fictional track league called the 'ProTrack Season'. This is written in the first-person in both Ewan's & Will's threads about 2 different riders (Lars Baanders & Tomas Linkwurst), and race reports, and information will be posted here, in the General Thread. Basically anything that isn't to do personally with both our riders.

The story will run for the first 14 weeks of 2015 and will be raced in real time (the Calendar can be seen below. We also have different classes of races and track series that will all accumulate toward the ProTrack Rankings.

If you have any questions or comments about the story, feel free to comment below Smile

European Track Series

The European track series is an optional 'step-down series', that normally plays second fiddle to the United Cup. The European Track Series is held exclusively in Europe, and is normally a big stepping stone for young riders, but usually provides fast racing. Known as the 'true track series', traditionalists love this series and see it as the ultimate goal. However, Fernando Puertez is known to avoid this race to focus on the United Cup, but for some riders, this is their prime objective. The series takes place in 5 different European cities: Pruszkow, Odense, Glasgow, Athens & the Final in Vienna. the final is known to be a huge affair with cycling fans, and the final city is a huge destination for cycling fans. The series is known for surprising riders to win, meaning the series winner changes almost every year.

Stories are supposed to have one thread, I don't see why it is necessary to have so many when your idea requires just the one. This isn't story games.

EwanWilson
@LuisLeonSanchez- The reason have 3 threads is that 2 of them are written in the first person, (mine & Will's) about what goes on in this thread. This thread is for writing out race reports, and publishing results, where the others focus on the riders life (a diary sort of thing) while he's racing.

You can EASILY do that in one thread. Observe:

Yes, I agree that you can easily do it in one thread. I once did a story about 2 riders in 1st person, too. You can be creative with the format even.

Besides that, good luck to the story Wink

One thread per rider i could understand, but a general thread as well? Just kind of why? What goes in here that could not possibly go into one/both of the rider threads?

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
